10K run on my favorite path with my marathon training buddy who is moving in 3 weeks. That was the good part. (not the moving, but the company.)

We won't go into the reason I have huge, welted scratches down one quad and possibly poison ivy.

Looking forward to reports of much more impressive runs and races!

I ran 14 very hilly miles with my running group, the Long Run Lunatics. It was a great morning and we had a very enjoyable time as we ran around town.

18.5 very hilly miles on my 4.5 mile hill out and back. 60 degrees and sunny. Ran 3 with the dog which broke up the monotony and added the extra 1/2 mile at the end to punish myself. Hurt so good!

Beautiful morning and a great run!!!

Everyone have a great day!!!!!

ETA: Sitting down to some pancakes and I see a bat flying around the livingroom. He flys into the diningroom and starts doing laps. I tried to herd him out the door for about 20 minutes (started to get dizzy) before I finally resorted to whacking him with the broom. Captured and released. Were good for at least one a year in the house. So far I have a perfect catch and release record.

13.5 miles today. I just was not mentally into it at all. The first 10 were OK, but the rest were a struggle. I probably should have planned better instead of just thinking that I'd do 'somewhere between 10 and 15 miles'.

How long after exposure does it take poison ivy to show up?

14.5 miles this morning-It was hot even at 6:30. Wasn't quite prepared for that. Anyway, I just started posting and was hoping I could add my reports to the daily thread. I need the accountability. I also just joined a running group so hopefully I will have plenty of motivation soon. Great runs everyone-SGH I ran into a little poison ivy this morning too but I don't see any welts yet so I'm hoping I got lucky. Good luck-that is miserable Oh and that bat story really freaks me out-I'll be looking up at the ceilings all day!

13.5 miles. 2 hrs 11 min. Very nice run with no wind and cool temps. Will be doing a 50k bike ride this aft, then it's time to start tapering for tomorrow's 15k race. I want to be fresh for this one!

5ish miles with the group this morning in about 45 minutes. Last night I made a decision to sign up for a 12 mile trail race coming up on Monday morning,

so I stayed back and ran with the slowest runner in the group along our short course until the fast guys caught us with a mile to go and I finished with them.

WTPJ - Only 6 days until we get to meet! I'm so excited.

Did some fake intervals this morning...not even close to what pace I needed to do them in but it was early (for me) and I was tired. Will go for a treadmill run in a bit.
