Morning folks.

Race short version: No real goals, other than to break 26. I'm overtrained, havne't been running much. It was a memorial race, so I ran it for the neighbors. Saw them before the start and they were so glad I was there. It was a 5K, so not much to say except I redlined it. Probably not hard enough as I was talking with people along the way. Fun to see the high school jocks sprint at the start, then barely hanging on so not to be passed by an old lady at the finish. Step aside, boys, old lady comin' through! Managed to go sub-25 and won my AG. Don't have the hardware yet as I had to leave before the awards.

Dan--can you at least walk on it?

BBS and fuller--hope your runs went well.

12 miles on a very crowded parkway. Today they had a fishing competition and place was packed! Tents everywhere and people drinking at 9 am. Glad I wont be around later in the day to see how that shakes out.

Then 3 hours of cross training in the back yard with weight lifting weeds. Felt good to get some yard work done.

Beautiful weather in pa today so it looks like the sun is still shining even after the end of the world.

Not sure what the heck happened to my earlier post attempt 8 hours ago. Oh well, trails for me this morning mostly on the same course I will race in 2 weeks. If nothing else I got a good sense of what I'm up against.

Nice running everyone.

Hello everyone!

Apple, there was also a kid's race going on which drew in tons of people as well. I heard there were 100 entries for the 13-14 year old wave which is the most the club has ever seen. Hope you had a good run. The Parkway can get really busy this time of year.

4bm, congrats on your ag win! That is awesome.

vash and BBS, we've had nothing but rain up here the last week or so, yesterday's sunshine was what the entire community needed. I feel for ya.

Great job on those miles Kevin!

Taper on, GaReb.

Trails for me as well, Hawk. What's the name of your upcoming race?

I ran my race course yesterday, carrying my Write in the Rain paper and a pencil the entire way and taking notes. It's going to be a great course (and a much better easement into those hills, Apple.) Hitting some other trails today for a Fat Ass event someone put together. This is going to be fun.
