32 mile ride done by my lonesome...did some hilly terrain that really kicked my behind...but now it is done and I get the rest of the day to myself (if you don't count DD's soccer game later on)

Complete DOR except for walking around the expo. Nerves kicked in hard this morning...I find that kind of funny since this is marathon #12. I need to remember to trust my training, enjoy the people and have fun tomorrow. Thanks to all of you for being a part of the training for this race!!

Mojo Jen!

I decided today that I need to use this no focus period to kick my PF once and for all which means for the next two weeks, I resolve to:

1. Limit my runs to 3-4 EASY miles, 3 times a week MAX!
2. Ice EVERY DAY
3. Stretch Religiously EVERY DAY
4. Start strengthening with the towel curl to start 2x/day EVERY DAY
5. Continue biking and introduce walking until I'm pain free

Once I get a handle on this, I'm going to slowly add some barefoot work.

So if you catch me being stubborn and trying to run more, slap me upside the head please! My arches were screaming at me after hiking yesterday and that's not so good...

good luck to jen otter tomorrow!
For me a fun 2 mi ow swim. I knwo I am lagging, I shoudl be in the pool gettign ready for a warm swim in FLorida in 2 weeks but...I'd rather be in the cool ocean. Conversly I know I need to pick up some weight for some summer cold water swims but I'm enjoying being leaner so I'm not doing it...

DOR for me. Had a fantastic time at my cousin's wedding today. His wife's family is from Derry, NH and the ceremony was at the Saint Anselm College Abbey in Manchester and the reception at Searles Castle in Windham. He's a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Air Force and his wife is an officer and a nurse in the US Army. It was a wonderful celebration of the start of their married life!

3600yd group swim workout. Right in the middle of the pack in my lane. Couldn't quite stay on the two guy's feet. My form deteriorates as I work hard to try not to get too behind. Then drove 3hrs to the Cleveland Indians game against Seattle Mariners. It was a birthday gift to DD for her to spend fun time with her cousin in Cleveland. The hard rain started even before the end of 1st inning. After 2.5hrs of delay (and we got quite wet), the game was postponed. Well, we will get to do this all over again, hopefully under a sunny sky. Back home now.

I was planning to race MTB race yesterday, unile I realized DD's dancep photo sessions over a few hours (group photo then individual) in the PM. Quite dissapointed. DH is doing the two-day racing.
