Cool/upper 30s - sunny and calm. Pikes Peak Greenway trail from Monument Valley Park South, north to Garden of the Gods Road and return. Nice run. Pushed the pace on the return.

50 miles on the roads this morning with a few friends. Man was that fun being out on the roads today! I got in a 20 minute run afterwards, held 7:15 for about 8 minutes, then realized I shouldn't be pushing it. Have a great weekend!

Glad to see good workout post this morning. The challenging times all over the world.

3300yd or so group swim workout. The workout said 3750 but we didn't complete it, running out of time, probably due to many kick sets. I did lots of drills while lanemates were kicking. I have a half marathon tomorrow.

Set out for 6 miles, easy but my leg felt good enough for me to toss in a few pick-ups. Time to get motivated for tomorrow's 20-miler! Puttering around the rest of the day, doing a little shopping, and just all around chilling.

17 miles with Lisa this morning. Did the first 3.5 solo, then she met me at my house for the rest. I realized at mile 15 that I'd only had one fuel stop at mile 9 for gummy bears...that was it except for water and maybe 4-5oz gatorade. I just didn't feel like I needed any more - had plenty of energy and felt great the entire time. Unfortunately she struggled today which made for a slower pace - that may have been the reason for feeling good. Either way, it's 17 in the books!

I'm happy with my performance. I wasn't sure how I was going to do since I haven't been running that much, haven't done any speedwork, and I'm about 10lbs heavier than last year. Now I know where I'm at and what to work on.

Great long runs guys! Nothing for me today. But, I got 4 runs in this week. I posted our weekly stroller runs on my new moms group page and got some more interest, so we are going to really look like an armada cruising through town with our strollers! We are also going to feel lighter than air when we finally race without pushing anything along.

Definitely count your blessings - and give them a hug and a kiss too if applicable!

DOR i guess. finish packing, get entire family to Vegas, get suite stocked, $80 for hamburger dinners? OMG

and then assemble bike, have a couple of almost freak outs, get bike assembled and all is right with the world.

damn it's a pain in the ass to ship a bike. Where's Tribiketransport when I need them! they so f-ing rule.

this is my first trip where I am dissasembling, packing, shipping, unpacking, reassembling - then repeat - all by myself. Pretty big step for someone who barely knows how to weild a screwdriver.

I about freaked when I saw my fork was all floppin around and stuff. I thought for sure it broke. nope, just gotta screw it in, that's all !
