Hello runners! Mr jebba was out of town this week, and I allowed myself to feel too busy and frazzled to run the past three days. The today I was out the door at 6 for my long run, and I had a grinding ache in my calf. This has been coming and going for a couple of weeks. I wonder if it is shoe related. Anyway, I came home after about 2 miles, and then the skies opened up with lightening, thunder, and pouring rain.

Jebba - Not a fun morning. I hope that calf heals up quickly and Mr. Jebba gets back home.

One more R8W2 today and then go to 9 tomorrow. A little tired but no where near what I expected after the 3 workouts this week. More progress.

jebba -- Hopefully shoe-related. How many miles you got on that set of wheels?

Dan -- Big grin on my face for you. Hope all this continues.

Me -- Feel very good this morning. Did a tempo run yesterday a.m., and held six miles at 6:42, even in the heat. Seven recovery on tap today, and 22 tomorrow.

Quick post while I have DD corralled. 6 recovery miles with the BOB. Not sure what I'm recovering from but that's what I'm calling it...

Hey there Saturday kicksters...

I just finished up my ride. I went 35 miles total, almost made it all the way to Dulles Airport, close enough that I could the planes landing. I was cruising on the way out but really tired on the way home, hit the wall around 25-26 and had to push my body to keep going. It didn't help that I was riding into a headwind most the way back. Glad I brought 2 water bottles and 2 GUs because I needed them. That's the longest ride for me in quite a while so I am happy to have gotten it done.

No time for specific comments right now. Gotta shower and head downtown for baseball - Phillies vs. Nationals. Go Phils!
