<p>Last year 3rd place in my AG was 38:41, 2009 was 37:31... Not that I'm wrapped up in placing, but w/ a bottle of wine as an award, I kinda want it.  We'll see. I talked 2 of my buddies into running today also.  Starting Line Temp will be about 80*, but overcast w/ a chance of rain, not ideal, but being overcast may help as long as the humidity will chill out. Right now its 94%, 75* dew point.</p>

<p>Little cooler in Cuyahoga Falls, though still a bit damp and foggy.    Got out for a nice 5 this morning on the Towpath, beautiful trail and lots of runners out.   Off to the Football HOF in a bit.</p>

zrun- nice job on the 5.<br><br>
No wine today. Very competitive field this year, 3rd place was 33:xx. I had alot of fun though! The course was cool, about 70% road, 20% trail and 10% grass. I kinda bit it on the trail section, could have passed a guy, but decided not to, probably should have though since I felt like I had some in the tank at the end. Splits were 7:07, 7:04, 7:19, 7:57 (trail), 7:03. For 36:11 unofficially.

<p>Crazy weekend.  I got out for 5.75 Garmin miles and then hit up CrossFit bootcamp for an hour.  Oh my quads.  Then back home to parent my toddler and babysit SILs 6 month old... later we're off to Racine for a triathlon at the butt crack of dawn.  All that way for a Sprint tri when there's a Sprint tri at our local park center tomorrow... don't ask.    Anyway, I'll have to do my long run tomorrow afternoon... that'll be fun. </p>

<p>Fun morning working the Woman's tri.  Worked transition and saw things you'd never expect to see.  Uh, think maybe some of the girls expected guys to be working???  Once most were through T2 I headed out on the run course to cheer the ladies in.  Fun time!  Finished by 9:30 and hung out with team mates for a bit.  Heading up to my home town for an all day music fest.  Should be a hot one.</p>

<p>I got out for a long run today, but felt some tightness in my lower back.  So I cut it short and did 5 miles instead.  Overall it was an o.k. run this morning.</p>

<p>I slept in a little bit but then it was an active morning/early afternoon for me.  First I ran 7.2 miles on my own. Went out a little too fast for the heat & humidity and kind of died in the final 3. Not that I was running for time, it was just supposed to be an easy run. Then after a short break at the house headed out with DW and we did a walk/run of another 5k.</p>

<p>Anyway, I think I'm ready to resume my training program next week.</p>
