It's me....

Heat finally broke here hope it has for you as well.

Back to the doc this week. She thought she felt nodules on my thyroid so had to have ultrasound. Luckily nothing found except that I have a small thyroid. Blood showed very slow increase in levels ergo my up and down this past couple of weeks. She's raised the dosage two levels again in hopes to speed it up. We think that earlier this year when I had a series of infections and was on antibiotics that it knocked my levels down significantly and now we're struggling to get them back up to a reasonable level. So, still a ways to go. Hopefully in the right direction. Hope I haven't been a drag here but I need someplace to dump this stuff. Thanks for putting up with me.

Have a great weekend.

Chances- TOOL?! I'm kinda J bout that. I always keep a lil undertow and aenima on hand

just got done with 8 miles on the trails. Planned for 7 but felt pretty good. It was a tuff run, but that good kind of tuff. Hopefully it was just what I needed.

Dan -- Glad to hear the heat broke. Hoping to get a run in tomorrow up your way. And you know you always have your imaginary friends here to listen. Always.

BBS -- Yeah, my Lateralus is sore, feels like it has been for 10,000 Days. ;-) (Inside joke for Tool fans.) Sounds like a great run.

Me -- Freakin' hot here. Only have six recovery on tap. Good thing, because did 13 yesterday on the 'mill at a nice 8:20 pace. Starting to wonder if this training plan might be a tad aggressive for me.

Good ones, all.

Good morning everyone. I am glad that I got out already. It is starting to get hot. I went out with my brother and did 6.38 miles sorry for the weird miles chances. Took off at a certain point and did 2 miles of progression at the end of the run and ended up with the odd mileage. We were tired and did not want to run anymore. 6.38 miles in 63:29(8:23). Last 2 miles were 7:44 and 7:00. Now it is time to relax and maybe watch some track on Universal sports.com Have a great morning everyone.

Fly-by here. VBS work day this morning. Son1 and I are gettign ready to head to the race venue. Spending the night at my cousin's, then racing tomorrow. I'm doing the Oly, he'll decide when we get there if he's doing the sprint or just spectating. See ya on the flipside!

hey all...looks like the "new" site will be ok!

3 easy this morning in the steam bath....decent run but easy remains good for me these days...

have a good weekend all...

Hi all. I got out for a recovery 5'er with DD in the BOB. Extra slow going in the late morning sun. A heavy breakfast and a heavy dinner last night didn't help matters. The perils of being on vacation! We start the trip home tomorrow and not a moment to soon as the MIL is driving me nuts.

I think MILs get together at conventions and come up with strategies to drive people crazy.

I did 4.65 recovery miles with a friend. It was supposed to be a 5 mile loop, but it's not.

Hey all, happy Saturday. It's a little cooler here today too after a big overnight rain storm. I wanted to get up early and run, but at 7:30 this morning, it sounded like there was a herd of buffalo on my roof so I fell back into a deep sleep and didn't stir until 10:30. Then it was time to watch the bikers and footballers on TV.

I'll get out after conclusion of Germany-Uruguay (World Cup 3rd place match). Hopefully for 10 or so. It's still a little drizzly but getting warmer. Then it's time for a quick shower & change, stop by at a TNT event in Arlington and then DW and I continue on to tonight's Nationals game.

Dan - sure has been a rollercoaster ride for you. Hopefully now you get to get off and resume your normal life though.

BBS - nice trail running.

Chances - it's always tough when you start up again. Plus hanging out with all those Toolheads has probably got you worn down.

kevin - nice job on the fast finish 6

4bm - good luck on the tri tomorrow

brown - easy is always better than stationary

RA - so which rest stop along the way are you planning to ditch her?

Jebba - sounds like my 5 mile (ahem, 4.95 mile) neighborhood loop.
