Today was one of "those" days where I learned that the taper crazies are A. Catchable, and B. catchable by non-living entities.

So, we were going to go visit a friend and their new baby, then I was planning to ride home, but the weather was predicting LOTS of downpours so I was planning to ride on the trainer later in the day. So we got up and drove to our friends where we parked and started looking at the house, and realized that the two of us couldn't remember which house. Yeah, it was 5 streets over. - ooops!

Then we did some shopping, etc. we drove home and I started to get ready to ride. Hm.. Flat - bike been on the trainer with the extra wheels. hm... ok, change tire, either get a pinch flat, or it's a bad tube - ti was pretty old, so that's two. I grabbed my race wheels and got on the trainer, and it went well, for the first 2 hours of 4.5. part of my not riding outside was due to the fact that I had a 'bad' feeling. In the past, these tend to be self fulfilling, so I rode 3 hours then did a 3 mile brick. All the resting has helped my leg heal a bit and it felt ok for the run. 14 days of doing the right things and i'll be ready!
