Good news, Thor, on the job search front. Keep my fingers crossed things will get finalized soon and well.

3450yd group workout. I just love swim with a bunch of my tri club friends. Lots of IM work (thus low yardage). First time ever I completed 100 IM (6x100 IM, of course I did fly only half of that - fly just takes too much out of me...) So, with that, I am signing up my first 100 IM at an upcoming meet organized by our club, YAY!!

6mile super slow run - Cold, poor footing, and yeah the familiar air intake issue from the earlier swim... sigh. Swim/Tri club annual party later!!

DH, probably first time ever, joined the more-miles-than-degrees club. He joined a group run organized by Lifetime - 16miles or so in 9F.

We may venture out to a local Ice Scrupture Show.

Five mile recovery run this morning. Felt clunky and awkward, but at least the sun was out, hooray!

Short swim later. Just got back from taking the kids on a 2-mile "hike" along the local paved nature trail.

Cool/low 40s - sunny and strong winds. PPRR Winter Series #2. Out and back course on the Pikes Peak Greenway trail statring at El Pomar Park, going north almost to ATB Park, then back. The out is slightly uphill and into very strong winds w/gusts of 30+. The return was down with a tailwind making for a good negative split. Ran OK, but didn't seem to have any extra pop today. It was a personal best on this course by almost 5 minutes, but I was expecting more. 4th in AG.

2:15 on the trainer - some ME drills, then 3x20 @ z2 in Aero position. Wow, haven't been down there in a while! Felt ok but hammies told me it was not the same as normal!

Then 30min on the TM in Z2

Doing a lot of bricks lately and pleased to report they're going great! Nothing like prior years.

Man this has been a deep bike week - 2:15 today, 2:30 tommorow, and 2x1:00 during the week. 6:45 on the bike. Huh. Plus 3 swims hitting 9,000 yds for the week. Bet I'm going to be a running fool next week can't wait to check out schedule ! Not posted yet... Huh, looking back I haven't had a rest day since Jan1. Wow. Cool. Body is doing just fine too. Energy good, motivation good, not sore anywhere, not nursing anything - which I guess makes sense, nothing is extreme intensity except masters. but still, that's pretty neat. I've had some "easy" days and sometimes pairs but I just noticed no full rest days.
