Top o' the mornin' to ya BBS. Good luck on the long run, hope it's going well.

I'm having some breakfast right now then will head outside I think for an easy recovery run. Pretty crappy weather outside -- 33 and drizzle. But at least it's not windy.

Hopefully by the time I'm done our water pressure will be back up. Apparently a pipe in our neighborhood broke overnight. We have to head to Philly later and am hoping I'll be able to shower before spending 3 hours in a car! Oh well, not much I can do about it right now but trust that the city utility authority will get it fixed.

Well, the trail was a little more adventure than I needed today...rain falling on top of existing snow/ice made for hazardous and frustrating conditions. So I bailed on that after about 1.5 miles, and jogged about a half mile over to where I could pick up my neighborhood 5-mile road loop. That went much better. Finished up with 6x100 strides.

And we have running water again. Woo-hoo!

Nice recovery, Hawk.

Great run, Jebba. You too, 4BM

BBS, hope the long one went well.

Two miles, huffing and puffing after a session of roof-raking. Very hard to get much running in lately. There's always a conflict, and it usually has something to do with snow-ice removal.

kfuller - nice to see you switch it up!

Baba - there's always something... at least you got some miles in.

Hawk - sounds like fun. Glad you found firmer footing and I'm sure DW is glad that the shower is working.

Jebba - nice job on the 8

4boysmom - beat up and still training?!

BBS - how'd the long run go?

Even though it's nice out (sunny, 32FF and a a bit breezy) I just couldn't be motivated to find somewhere clear to run. So, headed to the gym but the parking lot was reduced in size from the mountains of plowed snow and full. Great! I decided to go to the indoor track. There I ran 80 laps a bit faster than usual. I'd planned on 6-8 miles but decided I might as well make it an even 10. It wasn't that bad.

RA- It is training time, so I will be switching it up quite a bit now. I understand not wanting to find somewhere clear to run outside. For me this week I walked outside and it was just too cold to run outside.
