Morning peeps

Man, I guess my legs aren't quite recovered yet... 3&4 milers on the TM felt OK, but yesterday's run was a set back. Quads are still sore from yesterday's run. Was planning on doing 8 today, but I guess I'll opt for some more rest. Maybe try something short and easy again tomorrow on the TM before church

Fixin' to get ready to go for a run. Yep. I"m going for a run. Eventually. It's freaking 17* this morning. Isn't that too cold to run? Yah, I guess I might warm up once I get out there. But, it's COLD! I don't really wanna run. Busy day ahead so if'n I'm gonna run, I gotta go now... Stay tuned.

BBS -- Recover, recover, recover. You took a lot out of yourself last weekend with that effort -- and smokin' time.

Mom -- Way to buck up. Get out there.

Me -- Beautiful day, but cold. Think I'll go for a reasonably-paced swim at the Y, then reserve my run for a bit later when we're supposed to hit the high 30s. Wind is supposed to stay away -- so there's that.

Ah well, at least I managed to get out there. Planned on 10. Just wasn't happening. Physically I am totally drained. Got out there and managed 4 laps 'round the lake then called it a day. Might re-try the long run early next week.

Hey Saturday kicksters

Nothing for me yet. Had a chiro appointment this morning, much needed. Chilly morning but it's warming up nicely to mid 40s or so. I will either go for a bike & short run brick or do some easy miles in the VFFs. Not sure yet.

Nice job out there everyone. And BBS - I am in the midst of a SIX WEEK marathon recovery plan. Respect the recovery. Just sayin'.

Good morning as it is still that here. I got up at 6 a.m. and went outside to watch the lunar eclipse. Took pictures until the battery died. I did not get the full eclipse, but I did get some nice pictures.

Then I went to the pool for 35 minutes of walking/jogging. Overall it is a great workout for your legs. I bet I will feel it tomorrow.

Nice work all. Went to the gym and hit up the rowing machine, some quick weights and core. 6300m in 30mins while my butt was going numb. Last night we went to a talk by Jeff Spencer (chiro to Lance Armstrong during the TdF) - more of a movitational speach than technical. Luckily we are not living in van down by the river. Tonight it's UFC139 at our friend's place.

Make sure your legs are well recovered before you start hitting it hard again BBS. Better to wait a little too long than to try too early and have a big setback.

At least you got out there in the cold 4BM. How long is the lake loop?

Hope the run went well Chances. Any temperature is tolerable running as long as it's not windy.

How're you liking the Vibrams Hawk? I tried a knockoff pair, and picked up a pair around Thanksgiving, but haven't had a low enough mileage day scheduled that I felt comfortable wearing them.

Pool walking Kevin? Probably moving faster than I pool swim.

I'm sure it was a good speech Asics, but Matt Foley would have no doubt been better.

Got out for 10 today. Sluggish as can be at the start, feeling good by the last few.
