Good morning! Since I didn't get my swim in last night I did it this morning, 2450 yards in the pool. The sun has finally decided to grace us with her presence. I am hoping to get a ride in this afternoon.

11.5 mile run comprised of 5 x Blue Hills auto road. The road is .9 miles with slightly less an incline than Mt. Washington. Faster than last year at this time, but didn't feel all that smooth or strong.

5 x Blue Hills: 7:38, 7:41, 7:49, 8:01, 8:03

2100yds of swimming today. Hamstring still bothering me. DS played his first ever lacrosse game last night - fun stuff. He and his teammates did really well. Watching him play lax is much more interesting than watching him play baseball(aka:standing in the outfield doing nothing for 2 hours)which is what we did last spring.

Last longer distance before the marathon...12.42 miles with Lisa - she did her last 22, I joined for the end. Did a LOT of hills and felt good on them. Pace was slower than my normal, but I was ok with that. It was nice to have the time out there to catch up and talk about race day strategy.

Good workouts, all! Good luck, hobey, tomorrow! Have F.U.N.!!

Early morning 3000m. Went to the Sat. club workout, only to find the pool was closed. Three of us who showed up there decided to head out the gym two of us belonged to. And found four more of our club members swimming there already. I swam alone since the others were either too slow or too fast. A tough swim, didn't feel smooth at all.

Then, after dropping off DD at her dance studio, DH and I headed out to ride on the road. 2hrs. Didn't keep track of distance or speed. I forgot how to re-set the bike computer.... yep, that is how long I haven't ridden my tri bike.

Go Tribe!!!! Their win last night gave them the francise record of most wins in April AND the longest (11-game) winning streak at home. WOOOHOOOOO!! And Ichiro finally started getting hot. Ganbare, for another 200-hit year!!

10.2 miles on the treadmill in 1:15. Set the incline at 0.5% and sure enough, my calf was a bit sore after the run. Oh well, see how it feels tomorrow. Finished up with the strength workout I missed yesterday - 3 x 60s wall squats, 3 x 10 jumpees, 3 x 25 crunches and 3 x 60s planks.

You didn't cringe when other kids whacked him with sticks? DW had a hard time watching DS's first game last year when he got that first good hard smack . She's getting better with it now though....
