Happy taper, Moment's Notice. I will taper in, oh, two months!<br><br>
17 miles this morning in a nice waterside neighborhood and country roads about 15 min. from my house. We started in mist at 70 degrees, ended with sun and near 80. Massive humidity the whole way! I averaged a 9:10 pace but definitely slowed in the last 4 due to feeling slightly lightheaded and chilled. I'm pretty sure my hydration was off putting water out at miles 4.5 and 8 of an 8-mile loop -- I drink every 3 or so where I usually do my long runs.<br><br>
It was a good run overall, and best was the company of two very nice women my age I've started running with occasionally!
9.5 miles in the horrible humidity this morning. I wanted to stretch it to 10 miles but it wasn't happening. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/sad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Sad">
Did an easy 4.5 miles for my longest run so far.<br>

I took it easy and explored a new running trail I found in the neighborhood.<br>
I'm 3 weeks past C25K and have been running every other day real consistently. 3 mile runs with one day each weekend extending my long by 1/2 mile each time. This week I took 2 days off because of work so ran my long run today and it felt really good. My 3 mile runs are getting easier and faster and I plan to continue to add to my long runs!
