Good morning to all those who may be here today. I did 8 miles in 1:14:57(9:10). The first 1 1/2 miles has a giant hill in that is super steep. NO fun to run up. Now I am tired, so it is time for refueling and relaxing. Enjoy the morning everyone.

Nice job on the run this morning Kevin, great minds must think alike.

I also got in 8 miles on the trails. 37mins @ 4, and 35 mins @ 8. Acually felt pretty good, especially towards the end. Yesterdays 3 was pretty rough tho...

Looking forward to an easier week next week, need to heal up for my 2011 race debut

I got out for a nice 4 miles around my neighborhood. 28F, sunny and windy. Long run tomorrow. BTW: my guarented entry into the NYC marathon was accepted yesterday. Panic!

Good mor...er, afternoon all,

I've been up a while, puttering around the house, checking email, goofing off on Facebook, etc. Finally made some breakfast a little while ago and now it's settling.

I'm on the fence about doing today's 15 indoors or outdoors. Temps aren't too bad (40s) but winds are insane today with gusts up to 50-60 mph. Oh well, I've got another 30 minutes to mull it over. I sure hope these winds subside, for the sake of those running the GW Birthday Marathon in this area tomorrow. Doing a marathon in gale force winds would really suck. Plus it will be colder tomorrow.

I guess if I'm outside, the pace will be much slower than last weekend's 14 when I was under 8 minute pace the whole way and finished up at MP.

Hi everybody. I did an hour of plyometrics, and then a quick one mile run. I also ran .8 miles with my 6 year old, as she's logging her running for the kid's marathon in April. Then I ran .35 miles with my 3 year old (around the block) because he didn't want to be left out.

Just a short 5 mile run this morning at Grant Park in Atlanta. It's probably the first time in two years or so we have ran at Grant Park and I forgot how hilly that area is. But it was fun running by the zoo and cyclorama. And the housing architecture in that part of town is very interesting at times.

Well, now THAT sucked. Knew 18 wasn't going to happen so was hoping for 16, or 20laps. Never really felt good. As I was finishing lap 14, the legs quit. Aw, come on, it's only gonna suck for a little longer. NOPE. Only got short of 12. 6 weeks 'til the 'thon. I'm thinking the full it out of the question.

Hi, gang.

Sunny, cold and stupid windy. That's the consensus, isn't it? I felt like crap for the first mile, then dug in for the remainder. I ended up with 4. This concludes the week at 21, the first time I have topped 20 miles in a week since last fall. That is a good thing.

I see some of you are stretching your legs a little today, getting higher mileage totals. Great job to all.
