11 mile trail run this morning. Very easy pace, just trying to loosen up and make the legs just a little tired for tomorrow's long run (easing back into the back-to-back long runs slowly). Clear sunny day, temps in the 30s... perfect.

12 this morning - tougher than expected. Holiday training onconsitency, holiday nutrition, minor surgery all seem to have caught up with me. Weekday runs are 6-10, usually 7-9. Looking over my log, it's been longer than I thought since I've gone over 10. I definately felt this. Really good run though, but only in the sense that I got the workout in.<br><br>
Shoes are about done. I know it varies greatly from shoe to shoe, but do you guys feel you get fewer miles out of a pair than lighter runners? I can usually only get about 350 miles which isn't bad, but most lighter runners I know can get 450+ depending on the model.
