Rough night for me. The plan was a 5 mile recovery run. It was very warm (heat index over 90) with dew points in the low 60s. To make matters worse, some of you remember that earlier this week I said I had a sore throat. That throat is still bothering me.<br><br>
I really struggled tonight.<br><br>
I was supposed to to my exercise routine tonight, but I don't feel like it. And, I have a 20 mile run tomorrow.<br><br>
Saw a very close call tonight. A young lady driving a Saturn was at a T intersection waiting to make a left turn. Another car came along and was going to make a left onto the road where the Saturn was. The driver making the left onto the Saturn's road motioned for her to go ahead. There was a Chevy Caprice Classic who was going to go straight, and rather than wait for the Saturn and the car in from him to make their left turns, he decided to put his right sides up on the curb and pass the car making the left in front of him. Just as the young girl in the Saturn pulled out. Fortunately, the guy in the Chevy noticed what was happening and jammed the brakes on. Missed her by inches.<br><br>
