Race today. 3rd AG. Vicki was 2nd AG. Still not feeling great, but I'll take it.

Equipment: Adidas Adizero Pro

Warm/upper 50s - Sunny and light wind. Sailin Shoes 10K race in downtown Colorado Springs. Fairly flat course. Cold is still hanging on and affecting my breathing. I may have been able to take 1st AG if I had been feeling 100% as I've beat both these guys several times. Best time ever for this course though.

Nice job, Don (and Vicki)

62 or 63 mile group ride, followed by 6 or 7 miles to watch DD's swim meet. 69 miles total; avgd 18 mph (easy group ride ... mostly along the coast, with just 6-700 feet of climbing for the entire 60+ miles.

Test run of the knee this morning.

3 miles of run 5 min walk 1.

Felt a little tight, and quads definitely weaker on one side, but

no pain. So, that's good.

Made friends with the ice packs again, just in case.

Still doing ok several hours after the run.

Then, home crafting projects.

This time, shelves that are made of ropes and boards.

I HAD to buy a new power tool. Yup.

Rabbit and I trekked to "the Depot" as Ad/Moco call it

and browsed in the drill aisle.

Two chicks and a drill.

Big time fun.

PIcs when they're finished.

Still have to cut the rope, paint the shelves, assemble and hang.

Great job Don!!!

Stitch - glad the run went ok!

Planned brick will wait for tomorrow in lieu of a DOR. I realized I haven't taken one in 10 days - I suppose haphazard tri training is to blame. :) But probably good to take a day off today...hammies are feeling kinda tight.

Congrats. We were up in Gorham on Saturday and right after your race was done there was some kind of Mini Cooper rally to the top. It was a busy day on Mt. Washington :).

YES. We saw the Mini's starting to gather as we were drinking beers under the big tent within the auto road grounds. It was kind of funny watching all these cars, most of which looked identical, rallying around.

I could not believe how many we saw on the way up -- parked here and there at gas station, restaurants, etc. They even outnumbered the motorcycles, especially north of exit 23 on I-93. One of the people working at Great Glen Trails who was at the cookout we were at was telling us all about the busy day.

Really! On the way home heading south on Rt. 16, it was Mini, Mini, Mini, Mini, Mini, Mini, Mini, Mini Van, Mini, Mini, Mini, Mini, Mini, Mini, Mini, Mini, Mini. You could tell who was going where. 9 of 10 were going to the mountain while the other 1 was off to Sorryland.
