I couldn't post this in race reports because it said no new posts were being accepted. I'm sure it's my error, so I apologize in advance. That aside, here goes; the weather was beautiful. The course was perfect. Fellow runners were very talkative, friendly and genuinely happy to be there. My best time before this was just under three hours. My time today was 2 hours 35 minutes. I kept looking at my new garmin and tried to keep my pace anywhere from 10:15--11:00. I found this to be very doable and I'm very excited about the improvement in my time..... After the race my running partner and I went and walked in the chilly water at the beach to help with recovery. All in all a great day....
