Now that it is starting to warm up ( well at least for some of us it is ) Im in the market for some sandals. Not cheap ones, something I wont be afraid if I go on a trail, running after my kids, out for a bike ride, etc and still look good wearing casualy.<br><br>
I have briefly looked at Teva, Keen and Merrell. ANybody have any feedback or input?

I LOVE my Keens. I have actually run in them before (long story). Very comfortable.<br>
I also have a pair of Merrells.I also like those, but mine are like flip flops, kind of, so I can only attest to how comfortable they are.

I have a pair of Keens (<a href="http://www.keenfootwear.com/product_detail.aspx?sku=110230" target="_blank">http://www.keenfootwear.com/product_...spx?sku=110230</a>) that have a toebox. That was a big thing for me - I wear them for a lot more stuff than I would a pair of flip flops or open toe sandals. I basically wear them all summer - hiking, boating, messin around. I would never have bought them before ( I think they were about 100) but I got a gift cert at a race.

I just bought my first pair of Teva's and completely love them. I think I wore them every day last summer.

forgot to mention this about the chacos - the footbed/sole is high quality vibram rubber, lasts forever, can be resoled, and if the webbing wears out they can be re-webbed at about 1/3 the cost of a new pair.

I second the chacos idea. I have sandals of the following varieties: birkenstock, keen & chacos. I don't know nothin about what Trevor's talking about.<br><br>
I wore the chacos every day when I was in Russia, walking, walking, walking. No hurties on the feets. Happy sage.

I have Keens (Keen Newports). Like Tom said, mine have the toe box. They are great for walking, casual wear, chasing after my son (or dog). They work well at the lake, or in the woods. They are pricey, but mine have lasted over a year, and I wear them almost every day in the summer (I work in a very casual environment).
