I am pretty sure this one will work out for me in April. Anyone doing this one? Larry

Hey, I am only 40 minutes south of SLC.

Is anyone going to do this race? I'd love to come and cheer you on.

I'm not running - but I did run the inaugural SLC marathon in 2004 - in spite of warnings of slowing down for high altitude, I had a 5 minute PR (and my first sub 2:50). - a nice course and well run race as I recall...

I am having second thoughts on doing another marathon on a flat course, just won't put any effort into it unless there are some challenges. There is of course the Wahsatch steeple chase in June, that looks attractive. Larry

PC are you talking about the jupitor peak steeple chase in Park City? I have done that one. I havn't checked out the the triple challenge, It might be fun, but it is 500 miles from here so I don't go down there that often. I have run different sections of the Wahsatch course when I was with a running club several years ago down there. I did enter that race before but because of rain the course was rerouted as parts of the trail was washed out.

Ran it last year and really enjoyed it. Can't make it this time though...

After all the hoopla about Devine not paying the winners until practically a year had passed, I sort of assumed the organization would be poor. But from a participant's point of view it was a really well done event.

Maybe next year...
