Wake up, people!<br>
I'm up for a run. I have 20 on schedule, but will probably go shorter. I will try to drag Batmomm out of bed for a few miles. GL me.<br><br>
Myron, this was the last race. I only have one more big weekend and then I taper. Looking forward to it.

morning, Fit! Thank you! It is always a life boost when I spend time with these girls, no matter what happens on the course. They rock!<br><br>
What's the plan for today? How's the hip responding to the PT's strategy?

Now I've read yesterday's thread. I'm sorry you had a tough race & glad that Alemma stayed with you. I'm also sorry that Alemma had to go home yesterday!<br><br>
Hip was monster-sore on Friday after PT, but back to normal-sore now. I discovered yesterday that my anti-inflammatory med (which lists dizziness as a possible side effect) does, in fact, make me dizzy while swimming! Otherwise, it just makes me nauseous if I take it in the morning.<br><br>
The PT exercises, I think, will help. I'm just so bummed about the back, finding out that it is functionally fixed in a C shape. I knew it was rigid & moved as a unit, but I guess I just thought that's how everybody's backs worked. So, for sure there's going to be a lot of PT & work to try to get it to function differently, but there remains a possibility that it has become permanently fixed that way... in which case, my aspirations to distance running are toast. I might one day be able to get back to 15-20 miles a week with LSD's of 4-5 miles, but nothing more if the back doesn't come along.

Fit~ Sorry about the back and hip. I hope that your back does come along, but even if you are limited in your distance, you are such a motivated athlete and such a good swimmer that I can see you doing and exceling at the sprint tri as your sport of choice. ! Have a nice Sunday.<br><br>

Today is a rest day for me. Since I wasn't able to do weights yesterday since my neice was here all day, I'll try and get them in today. I just woke DD up and she's not happy.<br><br>

Good morning, Fit! Man, when the back goes, the whole body suffers. I'm wishing you the best. I was plagued with back problems until I strengthened my abs and core. The core strength helped offset the weak lower back. PT will help you, give it time and give it all you got!!

ALemma- Do you find it harder to wait around to do your lsd's? I do<br>

Good Morning Friends! Happy Daylight Savings! Not!<br><br>
I totally forgot about the forward time, woke up and to my surprise it was already 8:30 am... I was planning to go running at 9 am, but it won't happen now.... LOL.<br><br>
I have 10 miles on the schedule today, but I will have to do it on the TM.. I'm actually excited about it.. <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif"> Today we are digging out of the 36 hour snow storm.... It was the biggest snow fall this winter.. Everything is burried, including our fire hydrant nearby...
