Good morning.

I have 15 today.
I think I am running at Umstead.
DH came home from his trip very late, which means he will probably sleep in. So, I gave myself an extra hour of sleep and will run where I really enjoy to be at.

Everyone have a great day and get it done.

oh and BTW, if anybody is considering a visit to NC to crew at Umstead, you can say hello here http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/sho...559#post584559
and connect with other fellow runners doing the same. There is a ton of people coming just to pace and crew. It's interesting because since it is a small race with only 2 manned stations, everybody can help and get helped by the crew people.
It is a really nice opportunity to get to know new KR runners and others, and of course watch scared Ty.

Good morning Ty and Lee!

I'm not running nearly as far as you two, but I am up and almost ready to go. It's actually "warm" here at 34* this morning! I'm meeting one of my friends to run her 6-7 mile long run and I will probably try to get a couple more done afterward.

Good morning! I must have heard Ty 'yelling' at me to get up 'cause I was out the door before 6. Kitty, I didn't want to get out of my warm bed either! I couldn't go back to sleep, so I finally got up. When I hit the road, it was a pleasant 51*. I turned on the iPod and began running. It was so nice. Not as many cars as I typically see on a Saturday morning run. All the stars and planets must have been alligned perfectly, because when I got to my first turnaround, I was smacked in the face with how beautiful and clear the early morning really was. The stars were shining and there must have been a couple of planets that I was able to see really well. They outshone every other thing in the sky. It was so quiet. It was a morning where you could run and listen to your breathing, your shoes striking the pavement, and podcasts while simultaneously thinking... everything is right in the world. And you might even believe that during the run. Today I got to say hello to the two teenagers who run together in my neighborhood. I see them often at the end of my runs usually before my last turnaround. I saw a sherrif's dept. crusiser twice (unusual). I saw several bunnies. This is not usual for morning runs. I was afraid someone was going to squash one since a couple of them had braved the road and were running/hopping in the street. I digress... when I got to the second to the last turn around, I saw the light coming over the horizon. I absolutely love a beautiful sunrise. This one did not dissapoint me at all. Birds chirping, rabbits running, the sound of households waking and letting out their dogs that had been confined to their homes for the evening... Nothing beats a Saturday morning run for me. All that to say, I finished a very easy, extremely slow, pleasant 4 for my LSD this week. Now to hit the weights.

batmomm - Have a great run.

Since I already did my lsd I am going to hop on the bike in a little while just to move my legs. It feels really weird to not have to stress about how I am going to fit in my run.
