<p>I am sick of snow, cold and icy roads right now! Winter stinks!!

I havent ran in a wk again! The 3 day blizzard pretty much shut down the city for 2 days, and have had things going on the last 2 nights! Hope to get to gym tonight as I wont be running on roads/sidewalks anytime soon! THe intersections are piled high with snow, hard for cars to see when they pull up and with the icy roads, it is just too dangerous out there!!</p>

<p>Susan...really sorry that IT band is still giving you trouble! I keep trying to think of what solved mine?? not 1 thing sticks out I just think iteventually went away....did graston for a while and that did seem to help things get going...it took a few months of that only!! Have you heard of the book LORE OF RUNNING? I picked that up and it has a really good injury section plus lots of info on rigid feet which is what I have with my high arches. Huge book but lots of great info! that IT band is a tricky stubborn little bitch isnt it!!

<p>I need to pick out my training plan now...will be running a spring half again and then hoping to do a fall full. I am running the half witha few friends from high school to celebrate our 40th bdays! We will be running a 5k friday night and then the half sat morning!

2 shirts, 3 medals & 4 forty year old cougars running together!! well worth the $80
