Good morning Paul! Hope the day goes smoothly for you. I have a car question for you if you don't mind -- I took my Odyssey in for service at my dealer yesterday (oil change, computer update, inspection, snow tires and alignment) and when I got it back after I noticed that my steering wheel is now slightly off. If I'm going down the road in a straight line it's turned slightly to the right. It's not a huge deal but kind of annoying. Is that something that happened with the alignment? Is it a big deal or should I just suck it up and deal with it?

Short run for me yesterday and then yoga. Today I hope to do another short run and lots of stretching. I'm going at this IT band with everything I have right now because I refuse to let it stop me from running Boston! This is what I say to my IT band I'm going to keep a positive attitude about it and I think that will get me past it,right??

Good morning Sisu!

Nice message to the IT! Hope you're on track for Boston!

If the steering wheel is off center, you should call them up and have them re-center it. When they did the alignment, they may not have locked down the steering wheel properly. It's not a big deal for them to straighten it out, they'll just have to put it back up on the alignment rack and then just center it out.

Good morning. I went back to crossfit this morning. We ran a mile (as fast as possible), lifted (squats and bench press), and did the WOD. It was hard.

Suds - Hump Day - Yay!!! Nice job on the work out this morning.

Sisu - You tell that it band how it is!! Are you running on the snow or is the path cleared? I ask because I noticed that my it bothered me a bit when I was running in the snow even though it hasn't bothered me in a couple of years. I think it's the fact that it's uneven and you have to engage more muscles in order to not slip and fall. It hasn't bothered me at all since the plows came through.

Happy Wednesday!!

I am sick of snow, cold and icy roads right now! Winter stinks!! :) I havent ran in a wk again! The 3 day blizzard pretty much shut down the city for 2 days, and have had things going on the last 2 nights! Hope to get to gym tonight as I wont be running on roads/sidewalks anytime soon! THe intersections are piled high with snow, hard for cars to see when they pull up and with the icy roads, it is just too dangerous out there!!

suds..hope your day goes fast!! good job on your "usual" :)

Susan...really sorry that IT band is still giving you trouble! I keep trying to think of what solved mine?? not 1 thing sticks out I just think iteventually went away....did graston for a while and that did seem to help things get going...it took a few months of that only!! Have you heard of the book LORE OF RUNNING? I picked that up and it has a really good injury section plus lots of info on rigid feet which is what I have with my high arches. Huge book but lots of great info! that IT band is a tricky stubborn little bitch isnt it!! :)

Andi...great job on workout!

I need to pick out my training plan now...will be running a spring half again and then hoping to do a fall full. I am running the half witha few friends from high school to celebrate our 40th bdays! We will be running a 5k friday night and then the half sat morning! :) 2 shirts, 3 medals & 4 forty year old cougars running together!! well worth the $80 :)

Have a great day everyone!

Morning my running friends. I got a good run in last night even if it wasn't too long. I had to pick up my daughter at the library. I will work out tonight too. The weather here is great. It should be clear and in the mid 60's for the next several days. Perfect weekend for baseball. We will see how the boys do though. They haven't been able to practice much because of all the rain.

Hi everyone. I had a good run yesterday and I will run a little later today. Probably after lunch and before I pick up dd. I have a couple more days here in the cold and Friday night I head back home to CA. Sat. is our 1 years anniversary. We're not doing anything special, but at least we will be together.

happy new year everyone.

thanks to some unexpected health complications I haven't been able to exercise in the last 6 weeks, and likely will not be able to for a bit longer. Kind of a bummer, but I guess it is what it is. Post surgery complications can kiss my fat ass.
