Good mornign!

Had a nice sweatty run and workout this morning. It's going to be a hot one today, the shop is already hot and steamy.

Sisu, hope the hip is doing ok!

The training plan I'm trying right now is from Runners World. I'm doing the advanced version and I'm on week 5 right now. It's a little different than what I'm used to, having 2 rest days but some harder runs during the week. I'll give it a shot for Smuttynose.

Suds...good job on the run! It is hard to get out there for these hot humid days!
Andi...have a great day! great job on getting your run done as well!
Sisu...that sounds like a great camper and a great deal! That is what we are having the hardest time with upgrading...our camper is paid for and I really dont want to take a loan out for something that gets used 5x a summer! HOpefully we will find what we are looking for and the price is right as well! I would really like one of those hybrid trailers (looks like a trailer but has the pop out beds on ends like a pop up) , we would also take a larger popup but has to have a toilet/shower areaand air preferably as well!, we have a portipotty for our camper but dont have a spot for it so usually just use in on our canoe trip where there is no bathrooms at the campground) this why I am scared to sell what we have in case we dont find something else right away! We need something that wont be too hard for our envoy to pull.

will run tonight....3 or 4. have a great day everyone!

Hi all!! How is everyone doing? I'm doing pretty good. Staying busy with all the kids this summer, but that's what makes me happy!

I ran 10 miles yesterday and the thought of a fall marathon is kind of creeping into the back of my mind. We'll see, though. Maybe I will run Boise again.

Today I am taking a placement test, because I am going to go back to school. I will be starting classes for the fall term. It has always been my biggest regret that I never got a degree, and my wonderful husband has encouraged me to go back ever since we've been together. Right now I am only going to be able to take online classes at our local community college, but it's a start and I am excited!!

Suds-Good luck with the new training plan. When is Smuttynose?

Andi-Good job getting your run done. I guess it's best to get it done early if you're having hot weather! We had a really warm week last week, but it's cooled off significantly this week. It feels great right now.

Hi Staci! How is your summer so far? Enjoy your run later!

Hey Sb - One of the reasons we don't look at upgrading our camper right now is that we are afraid we would also need to trade in the Yukon. Both the camper and the Yukon (next week, anyway) are paid for and I don't want to take out any loans right now. Have a great run later.

Fer - How exciting about going back to school. What are you going to study? I'm glad you are enjoying the summer so far.

Ortho appointment and dentist appointment are done and now I am at work. I'd rather be at the beach!

Andi-I haven't decided for sure what direction I am going to go with school. When I went to college originally I was going to major in English. And, I have thought about going into teaching, but I just worry about looking for a teaching job just out of college at 40 years old and that just seems kind of unrealistic. I have thought about working towards a business degree, with the thought that it would help me with my photography business. I just don't know, so for now I'm just going to start taking classes that will give me credit towards an associate's degree and see where things go from there.

We've got 3 ortho appts tomorrow. Fun, fun!

My summer has been fun but going FAST!! :) they always do!! Lots of ball and running kids here and there...a few quiet moments...really need to make the most of these next few wks, I go back to work in (gulp) 6wks!! YIKES!!
Andi...I know what you mean, I love having things paid off and hate loans, right now we are also getting estimates for a screened in patio or 3 season sun room, we are thinking we would put the 2 together but still dont want to spend a lot and paying cash for the camper would be ideal!

I broke down adn let ds3 buy every boys dream toy...a archery set! :) He actually paid half and it is a pretty safe one( dull end but metal) but I still worry!! He has spent hours this afternoon playing with it in the backyard and has wanted one for so long...I just hope we dont decide to start chasing the few squirrels we actually have back there! :) the joys of motherhood!! :)
