Good morning!

I had a little speedwork this morning and a short workout. Worked up quite a sweat but it felt good.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning! I didn't do the fun run last night. I had 6 to do this morning and decided to respect the taper. Plus it looked like it was going to pour and it just wasn't worth it to me if I wasn't racing.

Suds - Nice job on the run and workout!

The run was ok this morning, started out rough and I had to stop and stretch my hips but it ended well so I am happy. I need to do a lot of stretching and rolling over the next few weeks if I want to have a good race. I will be cutting back on my gym workouts in a week or so as well.

Good morning Andi! I think it was a good move on the fun run, you're better off sticking to your plan. I hope you can loosen things up in time for the marathon. Just keep stretching!

Maybe I'll make one of those fun runs some night.

Hi!

Bootcamp for me this morning then I went to my ART guy for some work on my hip flexor.

Paul - good job this morning! Hope you are having a good day at work.

Andi - I had to cut back on bootcamp before my marathon. Even though I missed it I think it was a good idea. I hope that the stretching and rolling does the trick for you.

Sisu - Nice work on bootcamp this morning! I will definately give up the gym the last week of taper. What I need is a few really good sessions of yoga. I hope I can get some in tonight. One of the tapes (wicked old vhs) I have does a great job in the hip, butt and hamstring area. It always makes my runs better and I don't know why I don't do it more often. Probably lack of time.
