Good morning!

The power finally came back on last night! Just in time, too. As I drove home, the temp outside was at 19 degrees and dropping. It finally came on around 7:00, 23 hours after it went out. Well, at least I was able to get my run in this morning!

We were much better off than a lot of people near the coast. Tides were higher than normal and the winds were bringing the ocean right to their front doors. One of the guys who works here got flooded. His Corvette was 4 feet under water as well as everything on the lower floor of his house.

Good morning! I cycled for 45 minutes this morning. I ran 3 miles in the snow yesterday. I hate most things about the snow, but I love running in it.

Suds - I'm glad your power came back on. We were lucky and only lost it for 2 minutes or so, just long enough to have to reset the coffee maker.

Sisu - Have a good run later.

Paul, next time you don't have power for that long call us. We have a generator you can use as long as we aren't already using it. And we are lucky that we have a wood burning stove in the basement that keeps the house at least warm enough to keep the pipes from freezing.

Hey Ron - No New Year's plans yet. My sil invited us to her house for a party but we probably won't go. We'll probably just hang out with the kids.
