Wow Sudsy, how did I forget you had a marathon??? Man it sounds like you really gave it your best. I think I would have dropped out way earlier. Man, that sounds brutal!

Susan, yeah, I got my Boston card. Now the question is, can I get my calf to heal up so it can handle the stress of training. Not feeling very confident these days. Ran 2.5 yesterday and calf started bothering me half way there.

Jen, we just turned our heat on yesterday. OMG it is nice to have heat. It was 54 in the kitchen so we had to do it. I was gonna try and hold out til December. We actually did that one year before kids. And we didn't have the gas fireplace then. Not sure how we made it. Now I get to watch my heating bills go up.

And in the more good news department...the guy we paid many hundreds of dollars to take down some trees yesterday also managed to sever my underground fence in some unknown location in the process. The good news is that Socks hasn't even worn his collar in about a month. He just won't leave his area now. The bad news is that someday he might just try so I either have to try to find the break and repair it, or lay all new wire, which is not hard, but extremely time consuming. Hopefully I can find the break.
