Good morning!

Another rainy day here in New England.

I had my run and workout this morning, now I'm just trying to shift gears into work mode. It seems like it should be later than Thursday, I think going out Tuesday night threw my internal clock out of whack.

Andi, glad to hear you're kkeping that leg under control. Your race will be here so soon!

Ron, sorry to hear about mishap! 4 stitches? Wow, must have been a little scary! Hope everything is ok.

Hey Paul! I'm so confused about what day it is! I went to the Wednesday thread because I thought today was Wed. Good job on your workout. Sorry that the game was rained out the other night but it sounds like you made the best of it.

Ron - bummer about the stitches! I hope your youngest is feeling better. The good thing about kids is that they heal so quickly.

Andi - how cool about the pull ups! Won't be long and you'll be rocking them out unassisted! Don't worry about rain at the marathon - either way it will be a great day! It rained the year I ran it, too, but it wasn't until mile 10 or so.

No run for me since Monday and I missed bootcamp this week, too. (I did do my Jillian Michaels cardio blast workout yesterday so hopefully that counts as something) I have had my ds home sick since Tuesday and yesterday dd12 came home early. We're going to the dr in a bit to see if it's strep throat. Between being stuck in the house and this weather I'm going crazy! I have a 25k trail race in 9 days and I am no where near ready since I haven't been able to get my long runs in. Today I hoped to run for 2hrs but unless I do it on the TM it's not happening. We're heading to Westpoint tomorrow for graduation and some time with dh's family. I just hope everyone here is healthy enough to go. :)

Hi Amber! Sounds like you're keeping busy! Hope you get the checkbook situation handled.

I have a couple of smaller races coming up. 2 5k's, a 5 miler and a 10k. The 5 miler is an evening run along the waterfront (Squantum 5 if anybody local is interested) and the 10k is the race that ends in Gillette stadium on July 4th.

I would love to do the 25k too, but it's not in the cards at the moment.

Morning my running friends. I got an ok work out in last night but not sure if there will be time for anything today. Stayed up kind of late so will probably be tired later. I was just looking at the Las Vegas marathon web site and it is run at night. That would be interesting.

Paul he is ok. The Dr. Said 4 stitches but it was 4 layers of stitches. It was pretty deep.

Susan a trail race sounds like a lot of fun.

Amber - you are busy! I hope you get the checkbook thing figured out. LOL about the cowbell! I have my cowbell from 2 yrs ago hanging from my mirror in my car :) I'm not sure either if they give cowbells out for the shorter races but I do know that if you run the 50k you get a big cowbell! Maybe I'll try for that next year since I won't be running Boston :) Do you have a NB outlet in your area? There isn't one near me and I'm looking for a certain shoe I can't find online - it's the women's 805 speed. I think they came out last year but they seem to be all gone. I think there is an outlet near Oxford but I've never been there. Can you let me know if you happen to go to one?
ROn - The Vegas marathon sounds like fun! I think you should do it :)
Sudsy - sounds like a good racing plan. I assume in October you have a marathon?

I took both kids to the doctor and they are neg for strep which makes me happy. I think ds duped me today and he really should have gone to school.

Sisu, October is the Smuttynose marathon. I think you need to put that one on your list, if not the full, there's always the half. Last year was a lot of fun with beer, pizza, ice cream, music etc.
