Good morning! I got up and out for 4 miles this morning. Definately doing better with staying on track. Hopefully the weekend won't derail me this week - it's going to be a really busy one.

Good morning! I went to cycle this morning- what a great workout. Now I just have to watch my eating.....easier said then done this time of year.

My youngest has his first loose tooth- time goes by too quickly! He's so excited to finally loose a tooth, me not so much because that means he's growing up.

Andi- I hope you have a good day. Nice running this AM. How do you like your new job?

Hi all

Just a quick 30min run this morning. I have ds home again today with a fever and general cruddiness. I have to do a bunch of PT exercises later today but now I've got to get out and run some errands. It would be a perfect day for go for a bike ride but since I have ds home I can't do it. bummer!

Jen - did you take a spinning class this morning? I find that cycling is a great workout - so much harder cardio-wise for me than running. Have a good day!

Andi - great job staying on track with your workouts. Lots of kid's games this weekend?

Suds - any idea what the weather might be like for your run Sunday? Hope your Thursday goes smoothly!

Sisu- sorry to hear about the sick one. That's never fun for anyone. I hope he feels better soon and the rest of you stay healthy. I did go to a spin class. The 6am classes have awesome instructors (I say this after the workout not during it). Their theory is that if you get up early enough to be there at 6 it better be worth your while. It's the best way for me to really push it and improve my cardio. If left on my own I won't do it. Sadly the classes during the day aren't nearly as tough.

A few local dentists are buying candy from children this year and sending it to the troops. Do they do that by any of you?

Great job Andi!! You are really sticking to your commitment!

Happy Thursday Suds!! My hip/butt is bothering me again! Not from running...I think from sleeping in the fetal position on my side! I need to figure something out! Do you think laying with a heating pad on the area before I go to sleep will help it from tightening up durring the night?? Its at the point that it keeps waking me up durring the night now!

Jen I am in the same boat...not much working out and too much junk eating these last few months have caused me to gain a few pounds! I really need to get into a routine and stick to it! I know what you mean about your baby...you just want to keep them little!

Susan..hope ds feels better! There is a lot of crud going around here as well! As much as I hate the cold I think we need a good freeze....get rid of all the crap in the air!

Well we dodged a big bullet and didnt get the blizzzard! Snow around us and some areas close had 8" of the shit! Had blizzard winds but never dropped low enough to turn the rain to snow! I think we got around 2-3" of rain though so thats not good for spring flooding! Ran last night 3 miles on TM and then a strength workout in. I got in a hip workout and some yoga before DC this morning. Hoping to get to run outside after work..cold today but the wind wont be as bad!

Hi SB! Sorry to hear about your pain. I was having that too untill I got it stretched out a bit. Now it only bothers me on a long run or up hills. Sometimes during the day when I'm on my feet for extended periods. A heating pad sounds like a good idea, might be worth a try. Keep stretching!!

thanks Suds...I think I will probably go back to chiro for an appt or 2 as well! She really got it worked out pretty good back in August! It makes me feel a little better, knowing that it is not caused entirely by running ( last night was my first run in over a wk) and it had been bothering me since the wkend again! I stretched this morning good and I know I need to be doing that 1 or 2x a day as well! I know it really tightens up durring the night...wonder if there is something I could put under my legs or in between them so I dont go into the fetal position durring the night! I am going to try the heating pad tonight!

meep meep, happy Thursday!

cleaning, dyeing, and hopefully belly dancing and maybe some weights. I need to go vote today too, its the last day of early voting. We are supposed to go to a Halloween party at a local UU church tomorrow night and I need to figure out what I am making to take for the pot luck, and get candy for the trunk or treat.

E and I made treat bags for her preschool fall party last night, and then she went to spend the night with my parents, so its just me and Maxwell and DB today until 2. We slept until after ten.

Anyone started Christmas shopping yet? I have to make lists for my family for both kids, and I don't even know what the hell a baby will need for Christmas. Also time to start planning Turkey Day, we host and I want to try some new stuff this year. I'm going to enjoy it a lot more now that I am not pregnant this year.

ROn...hope you got a nice run in at lunch! DH is not a great massager!! he would much rather get them then give them! I wonder what i could bribe him with!

Hey LB....I have bought a few things and want to do some more this weekend! Really want to be done early this yr and think I am cutting back some this yr anyhow! Got a UA sweatshirt for ds2 and think i am going to take it to a my friend who owns a embroidery business and have her embroider his HS logo & team name on the front. Bought a green CUbs jersey for ds1 that he had found when we were in Chicago this summer and never bought and have got a couple things for ds3...he really got into football this fall so bought him a nice Drew Brees football card and saints jersey. I like it when they get to be a little older and you can get them more expensive stuff that they dont outgrow so quickly!! I hear ya on the presents for the baby..they outgrow everything so quick! Maybe put down a few toys/ideas on the list and then ask for some gift cards that you can use later to get things for outside this summer or spring clothes etc!

SB - I thought of you last night when I watched the news about the crazy weather in your area. Glad that you didn't get a blizzard! Good luck with your butt/hamstring. Do you drive a lot? is it your right leg?

Ron - glad to hear that work is going well for you. Enjoy your run.

LB - sounds like a good day. I have not started xmas shopping yet - at least in reality. I have made some lists in my head - does that count?

Jen - there is an orthodontist in our area who buys back candy from the kids and I asked my kids is they wanted to do it and they all said no. They'd rather have the candy than money!! ugh.

I ran for a half hour and it felt great. I could have run longer but I do need to work. I am slowly getting my endurance and some speed back. Slowly feeling like a runner again.

Hey Sudsy- my 2010 Sienna has a rotten egg/ fart smell when I'm not accelerating. Should I take it in to be looked at or do I just need to burn through the gas I put in? Everything I touch these days is falling apart. Our toilet now needs to be replaced because it has two leaks. I beginning to think I'm cursed!
