Good morning! I ran a short ez 3.5 this morning. It's time to buckle down and start training like an athlete. I did ok at Falmouth, but not as well as I hoped. It was really humid and I havent run much this summer so I only have myself to blame. I've discovered that when it's humid I shouldn't wear a hat. It made me feel so much hotter. I want to do it again next year.

Suds - Nice job on the 16 on Sunday. I'm sure you will have a great marathon.

Sisu - that race sounds fun. I know exactly how you feel! I'm bailing on a fall marathon as well to focus on getting into better shape and maybe I'll do one in the spring.

Ron - I hope you get the tm fixed! It's still warm around here but the nights are already getting cooler.

Hi Andi! Congrats on your race! That seems like a great distance for a race. Are you going to run a half instead of the full? I think I'm just going to do the half at Smuttynose instead.

I didn't get up to run this morning but i'll fit it in later today I guess. I have to find my motivation again and refocus. Tomorrow is bootcamp and after almost two weeks off it should be interesting! :)

Hope you all have a great day!

Morning my running friends. I hope to work out at lunch today. It should be a good day for it but we will see how the day goes.

We have been below average temps for much of the Summer but it is getting warmer. The next month should be hot.

Good morning!

Speedwork Tuesday! Had a good run this morning and worked up a nice sweat.

Andi, I hear you about the humidity, it was pretty muggy out there on Sunday. I'm hoping to get into the race next year, it looks like a lot of fun.

Sisu, have a good run later! I've been second guessing my running lately but I'm going to give it a try anyway. I know I'll be slow, but I think I'll be able to finish.

Ron, how's the TM? Have a good workout later.

Did you say it's getting warmer out there Ron? I'll come look at your TM! I'll have to go to the beach after I look at it to figure out what's wrong with it. It may take days of me sitting on the beach to figure it out but sooner or later I'll fix it.

Susan-You are welcome any time to come out and I will go to the beach with you!!!! :) I think we might have to drink a few margaritas before we figure out what is wrong with the TM as well. LOL

I just ran a couple of miles with the kids. They did a great job. We're kind of being pushers about the running, but maybe some day they will come to love it as much as we do. Two of them have really, really great potential.
