I woke up earlier than what I needed... oh well.<br>
I was going to do a 15, but decided to cut it to 12. In terms of time on my feet, it will still be good with my training schedule. I don't have time for 15 and don't want to do a 12 miler witha tempo run in the middle... So, it will be a 2/2:30 run.

9 miles LSD on my schedule today. I'll be doing it around 8:30 this morning. The temp is still very cold (11F) but there is no wind and I think sun will come out shortly.<br><br>
DD's birthday was a blast. She got an Elmo chair, Dora chair, Barbie CD player, talking baby doll, humangous teddy bear and some books. We walked in on her yesterday with her party hat on, putting party hat on the big teddy and dancing and singing to Backyardigans CD that she's got with her CD player and checking her image out in the patio door. It was hillarious.. <img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif">

Hmmm. Last fall, when I was talking about preparing to do the M at Shamrock, no one wanted to run it... Batmomm tried to talk me out of it, everyone said it was an awful race. I talked myself out of training for it, and now everyone is doing it! <img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif"> (In retrospect, with my hip troubles, there is no way I would have been able to do the M, but the half would have been nice!)<br><br>
Spent a while yesterday trying to install a new stereo in my new-to-me car. <span><b>I. Can. Do. This.</b></span> I got a little freaky when I had to assess and connect 16 different wires, stripping ends & crimping and such. But that's done now, so all I have today is plug everything in, test it out, and reassemble the entire front center console.

It was all me and I finally signed up for the Shamrock despite all my negativity towards it b/c i needed a March race to be a maniac, then right after I paid, Taciana told me the Umstead M was reopened. Alemma dedided to run Sham about a week ago since it is in her back yard and then she won't have to do one more long run alone.
