Good morning!

Happy Birthday Sisu!! I'm glad you had a nice relaxing vacation.

Suds - Nice job on the 10 this morning.

Amber - I hope everything is going well.

So, for the second week in a row I had to abort my Tuesday run. I was supposed to do 8 but a mile in I was in so much pain that I turned around and went home. I cycled and jumped rope instead (working on double unders) so I at least got a workout. Today is my double day so I will attempt 5 while dd is at lax skills. Went to cross fit this morning. As long as I can get my 20 in this weekend I will be ok. I'm sure swapping 1 8 miler won't hurt me in the end.

(I have to say that my 12yr old greeted me this morning by saying, "wow Mom you are really old now. Really, really old". Nice of her, huh??)

Sudsy - good job on your 10 miles today. I'm sure skipping your workout this morning won't affect you! How is Tank doing? Did everything work out with his stitches and cone, etc?

Andi - what is wrong???? Are you OK? I hope whatever you are feeling can be worked out easily.

Amber - sorry things have been rough. You'll feel better after your run!

I just got back from a rainy dirty 50 minute run. I think this is only the second time I've run since Boston! It felt good to be out there again. I hope you all have a great day! I'm off to run some errands and get myself a big, giant over-priced coffee treat to celebrate my birthday!

Morning my running friends on this fine Sisu day. I will work out tonight after I go the the optometrist. I am getting glasses today. Not sure how I feel about it yet. I guess it will be good to be able to see a little better.

Good morning Andi! Wow, sorry to hear about the pain. Hopefully this weekend will go without a problem. Don't push too hard today.

Good morning Sisu! Kids are brutal, aren't they? Nice job getting that run in, sounds like it was interesting! Tank still has the staples and they will be there until the 12th. Our dog walker is coming in 2 times a day to take him out while we're at work and so far he has not completely destryed the second cone. I'm actually taking Friday off to stay home with him to give him an extra day of freedom.

Enjoy your day today!

Good morning Ron! Seeing is a good thing, good luck with the glasses. 4.20 a gallon? Damn, I think we'll all be there soon. As of this morning, the station at the end of my street was still at 3.93 but I'm sure that will change in a minute.

(((Amber))) I hope everything is ok with you. Like Ron said, make sure you take time to take care of yourself!

(((Andi))) I'm sorry you had to stop your run! :( That is no good. But, you are ready anyway. If you have to take a little longer taper I think you will be ok.
