Good morning!

Had a nice easy run this morning and now just a few push ups.

Hopefully I'll have a smooth morning at work and then I'm off for a week!

Nicole, congratulations on the new car! Hope you get a long life out of it. Sounds like the pups are growing up fast. I can't wait until Tank loses those sharp puppy teeth.

Well my swim got cut short due to thunder. I didn't actually hear it until someone stopped me after the 3rd loud crack! LOL!! I got in just under a mile but was hoping for 2. There is always tomorrow.

Hey Suds! - Nice workout as usual! :) VACATION?!?! You get vacation? j/k. Have a great time!

Lee- Hope you had a nice run!

Nicole - Congrats on the new car lady!

So... I bit the bullet and started C25K this morning. I figured I was walking at a fast pace for 45mins anyway, walk/running for 20mins wouldn't be that hard. It wasn't actually. I felt good and I started with the run/walk and finished out the remainder of my walk. Had breakfast, showered, and now I'm hungry again.

just popping in to say hello. it has been a crazy week around here, but we have a beautiful brand new baby boy. We were able to come home from the hospital yesterday, and it seems like everyone is adjusting well. Elise loves him, and my two cats are mildly curious but feigning disinterest, and DB's cat is all about the baby.

The mister is off work for the next two weeks, which is great because I am not really allowed to do much the next two weeks. Sadly it will be at least 6 weeks until I can do any sort of exercise. I'm ready to start riding my bike again and running and not look like a marshmallow blob anymore.

Nicole, I envy your swimming ability. Maybe one day I will be that good at it, I intend to get in more practice once I am able. I can't even do a half mile without stopping.

Cho, I am going to be doing C25k again once I am cleared for exercise. I really liked it the first time around and it is a good way to rebuild endurance, which I need. You are doing great!

Sudsy, I hope you have a fantastic vacation

I ran a tiny bit and then went to body pump this morning then straight to the farmers market with the boys. I really need to get in the pool and swim since I have a tri in a little over a month and haven't been swimming much at all.

Looks like a nice healthy kid LB, congrats to you and DB.

12 mile run + 56 mile bike. 72 at start, 85 at finish. It was a real roaster out there, and I considered throwing in the towel at several points but it was never a realistic option. We started at 6AM and went til almost 1 with several breaks to refuel and one bike change. Awesome to finish it. The bike route had some real moster climbs in the first half and our fastest miles of the day were miles 44-51 so it was good that we were able to crank when we were pretty dead. 30 miles running and 90 miles on the bike in 4 days. I'm tired!
