I thought this was worthy of posting b/c you guys wouldn't snicker and make fun of me. Well, if you did, I knew it would be because you were laughing WITH me. :)

So I ran for the first time in over a year last Tuesday and have ran 2 more times since. Here are the stats:

Tuesday: 3.5 miles, 12:45 pace. Ran the first 1.5, ran/walked/struggled the last 2

Thursday: 3 miles, 11:46 pace. Ran the first 2.5, ran/walked the last .5

Today: 3 miles, 11:20 pace. Ran the entire time!!!

I have no intenions of training for a 1/2 at this point, I haven't been able to train for any 1/2 w/o injury. All 3 that I have run I have trained and run on stress fractures in my foot. For now I am just going to enjoy it and run a 10K max. I MISS YOU GUYS!!!

Morning my running friends. I ran a 5.28 yesterday and it felt great. I can slightly feel the spot in my leg that has bothered me so I will remain to take it easy. I also lifted of course. Not sure what I will do today.

Great job Nicole. That is awesome. Yes being healthy is better then getting hurt again.

Howdy!!

Great job Nicole!!! I think 10ks are the perfect distance! No reason to risk injury and push for a half. We miss you too and like Paul said we are always here to support you! :) Don't be a stranger

Sudsy - Did you have a good weekend with the move? How is your leg feeling?

Ron - nice running but I like that you are being smart and listening to your leg! Is your TM fixed yet? Do I still need to make a trip out there to take care of it? :)

I was such a slacker this weekend. I was supposed to get up to run with my group on Saturday but totally skipped it. I just couldn't motivate myself to get out of bed! My shin isn't 100% yet and I think taking that day off actually helped. I was supposed to run 13 miles yesterday but I did 10.5 miles instead. I had to wait until 9:30am to head out so the heat/humidity was tough and it felt like 20 miles! My shin felt OK and it didn't swell up to a giant mess so that is a good sign :) Today I ran 6 miles.

Is it margarita time yet :)
