<p>Good morning!</p>
<p>Off to a rough start for me. We lost power last night just before 8:00 and it was still off when I left. I shoveled out and made it to work in my Jeep, but it was a long slow commute with all the snow. Now it's snow duty at work until things are cleared out.</p>

<p>Hey Paul!  Sounds like the snow is worse down there than here so far.  Is your power back on yet?  Do you have a generator?  Looks like the south shore is really getting hit hard with high water, etc on top of all of that snow and wind.  Hope you have all the snow cleared at work by now and that you have a safe drive home.  </p>

<p>It certainly looks like a blizzard here with the wind and snow but it's not as bad as I imagined.  It's hard to say how much snow we've gotten since it's getting blown all over - maybe 6" so far.  there will be no outside running for me today!  I'd get blown away and lost in a snow bank. </p>

<p>SUDS--sorry for the commute and continued clean up--is it still snowing there? we have maybe 6-8inchs (hard to tell with the wind) but expected to get 18 or so??</p>

<p>Susan it rained a little Christmas night but not much and it should be dry the next couple of days so that is good.  Rain is expected for Wed.  We have had the most rain in December in southern Cal since the 1800's.</p>

<p>Amber my daughter watched a whole movie sitting on the horse yesterday and she is 11.</p>

<p>RON---aww that is cute...I remember those days of loving horses...it took me a long time to finally get one, and it wasnt my DHs first idea--LOL...he has now accepted it, but doesnt really like it....and I feel like an 11 year old girl sometimes when I am at the barn....so the love for horses may never die for her </p>

<p>Hi Sisu! Still kind of messy out there but I think the worst is over. Still without power at the house and DW is getting nervous. No generator either. Hopefully it will be back on before dark, it's getting cold in the house.</p>

<p>Amber my daughter does not show any interest in real ponies or horses.  She just likes the toy one.  Maybe that will change?  Although she probably knows that there is no chance at all that she will ever get a real horse.</p>

<p>Paul I hope they electricity comes on at home.  Will the pipes freeze?  My house was cold last night at it just touched the high 30's.</p>

<p>Don't say anything but it is so quiet in here I am going to the gym at lunch.</p>

<p>Wow, DW just called, power is still out with no estimate when it will be restored. Looks like a cold night coming up. And we'll be going out for dinner also.</p>

<p>Susan my boss isn't even here.  haha  I lifted and ran a little over 3.  I would love to do cardio out in the snow.</p>
