Good morning!
Hope you all had a great weekend. Just having a nice workout here this morning.
I took Tank out for his longest run yesterday, he covered a little over 4 miles and did pretty good. Looks like he really enjoys the runs and should be able to boost up his mileage a bit in the upcoming weeks.
Have a great Monday!

Good morning! Another busy weekend around here. Dd's cheer team took 1st in their division and grand champions for their age group at competion this week. Not bad; there were 20 teams competing in her age group. Ds lost in the Superbowl yesterday; final score 8-6. It was a really tough game. Now we are done and only have hockey to worry about so will actually have some down time.

I got up and cycled this morning. I only worked out once last week and really need to get back to it.

Suds - Sounds like Tank is coming along nicely. I need to bring my dog more often.

Hi everyone! How are things going? I didn't run yesterday, I was just feeling pretty unmotivated and just enjoying a very relaxing day with the family. I will run before noon today, I think.

Suds-It sounds like Tank is doing great. I'm sure he loves to run with you!

Hi Amber-How is everything going for you? Sorry you had to get up so early!

Andi-Congrats to your dd's cheer team! That is exciting for them. It's nice that activities are winding down. We are going to have a little break after next week, too. Cheerleading is over here, and the boys baseball is winding down for now.

Morning my running friends. I might get a short run in tonight. It was a relaxing weekend before the storm. Like Jennifer said baseball is winding down but before that there is a minimum of 6 max of 9 games next weekend between the two boys. I am excited for them. After that it should be just the oldest boy for a couple of months.

Paul it must be fun running with the dog. I did a mile with my middlest girl on Saturday. She wouldn't stop talking the whole time. She runs with such easy I am jealous of her.

Amber snow. We might get snow in the local mountains does that count? Other wise mid 70's here.

Andi my daughter had a great year with cheer too. They won their competition too but I was so glad when it was over. Their season was busy. The older team cheers for an undefeated team and they will probably play until January. I am glad we were not on that team.

Have a great day Jennifer.

Ran 6 with DH yesterday. A little chilly, 32* with a little wind....wont complain...still have not recieved snow yet! No running today yet...thinking bike and a short run at gym later. Have my online class tonight and need to make a final decision on kitchen floor tonight and clean a little because the carpet installer comes tomorrow AM to measure. I love getting new carpet...wish i could afford new kitchen counters right now as well!

Hi all!

Heading up to the bus in a minute so this is a quick drive by post. No run for me today but I did go to my sports massage guy and that was nice! Dh and I played keep away in the yard with the kids yesterday for about an hour and we had a blast and I'm actually sore today. We ran around for a long time - I guess I don't feel bad for not doing that workout I originally planned! Have a good afternoon!

Hey there! Happy Monday! I just returned from a bike ride (to Starbucks of all places) and got caught in the rain oh well! At least we have heat again. I also went to cycle at 6AM.

It was race weekend in Richmond with the marathon, half, and 8k. DH did the half and came in at 1:42- not too shabby for his first half. I'm so jealous of his speed. His goal was to beat his twin brother's half PR which was 1:44 9 years ago, so he's pretty happy. I did the 8K and actually placed 26/288 in my age group. I was shocked since I haven't been running as much as I should. My time was 43:52 and a PR by 1:10. The best is that since I placed in the top 50 in my age group my name was in the paper and my speedy husbands was not (I realize this sounds horrible but he's better at everything I do and I got him into running and he's faster than I am by leaps and bounds, so it was nice to at least place better than he did).

MIL was visiting this weekend. She brought her case of guns with her and was shocked that I asked her to keep them locked in the trunk of her car. It was an "interesting" visit. She has turned into Rambo which is scary if you knew her well.

Hi Sisu! How is your leg doing?

SB- brrrr...stay warm (although I realize that 32 is warm for your area)

Hey Ron!

Fer- I hope you get your run in.

Andi- congrats to your kids!

Suds- it looks like you'll have a great running partner! High five to Tank!

Hi Staci-Very exciting about the new carpet. The carpet in our rental is so stained and disgusting from the previous tenants I try not to look at the ground too often. LOL

Susan-Playing outside with the family sounds like a great work out to me! I hope you have a great day.

Oh, I just ran 6 miles. Now I am waiting for a delivery of a box spring we bought yesterday. Now my parents will have an actual bed to sleep on when they come instead of just a mattress on the floor.
