<p>Monday already? Damn. Oh well, let's get this week going. A short workout and off to work.</p>

<p>Morning guys.  Ran a trail race with obstacles yesterday, 90 is WAY too hot for a 5k trail race.  It was a lot harder than I imagined it would be, there was much walking and my ankles and knees are killing me.  It was fun though, and I will probably do it again next year now that I know what to expect.  </p>
<p> </p>
<p>I ran a couple times on vacation, but was pretty much completely derailed with my eating plan.  Time to restart and get back to it again.  Overtime this week means that I can get my much needed new shoes next week though!  Hopefully the course photographers got some good photos.</p>

<p>Good morning!  I actually managed to get myself out of bed this morning for a short run.  Hopefully that means it will be a good week.</p>

<p>Suds - Mondays are the worst, especially when most people don't have to work and we do.  <img alt="sad.gif" class="bbcode_smiley" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies//sad.gif">  Nice job on the workout this morning.</p>

<p>DB - sounds like a fun race but that is hot!  Hope you have a good week at work - it's always hard to get back into the swing of things after some time off.</p>
<p>Andi - good job getting out there to run this morning.  Hope the work day goes quickly for you!</p>

<p>We were gone all weekend for a wedding and just got back late yesterday.  We picked up our new puppy yesterday on the way home and he's a great little dog!  Not one accident in the house yet and he slept the entire night in his crate w/o a peep.  He is from Alabama where he would have been euthanized if the rescue group down there hadn't found him.  He's been through a lot in his short life but he's home now!!  Our choc lab loves him so far.</p>

<p>I went out for a nice 40min run with the dog this morning and it was just perfect running weather.  Sunny, mid 40s and crisp!  Have a good day!</p>

<p>I managed a little over 12 miles this weekend.  About 6 on my own and two runs of 3-ish with the girls on the trail.  Calf feeling better.  My burn is finally almost healed. </p>

<p>Morning my running friends.  I probably won't run today but will lift a little tonight while watching TV with the kids.  It was a busy weekend but I managed to get work outs in.  We had 2 baseball practices, 2 baseball games, 1 football game and cheerleading pictures.  It was spread apart pretty good so I was able to get it done.</p>

<p>DB the trail race sounds like a lot of fun.  I will have to try one soon.</p>

<p>Hi Sisu! Love the puppy! I'm glad the 2 dogs get along, hopefully they won't wreck the house when they are playing. I had a 20 yesterday, was a little tough because my new shoes haven't arrived yet and my old ones are beat up pretty good.</p>
<p>John, nice to see you getting back out there. Don't cook any more body parts please.</p>

<p>we are having some wonderful weather here...70-80* the past wk! Sunny and warm just perfect! The rest of this wk looks to be cooling off a lil, but still 60-70*! We are loving it! hoping it lasts and we have a great fall....really shortens our winter up when we can get outside lots in Oct & Nov!</p>

Sisu..yay for a new puppy! Ds3 really wants one but I think we have decided to wait until nxt spring before we look....Hard to train a pup with dc in the house and I would rather do it when I am off of work and the temps are good! <img alt="smile.gif" class="bbcode_smiley" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies//smile.gif"> Enjoy your new little one! <p>Hi all!  I ran a little over 7 today.  It felt pretty good, but I've got a callus and a blister that are kind of bothering me a bit.  I guess that just comes with the territory, right?</p>

<p>Hey guys!  Ugh.  One hell of a Monday today.  I can't believe there are 6 more days to get through.  I want a run and I want it NOW!!!  The weather is just perfect... well a little hot for this time of year but the sun is going down.  DH is home so I am going to bugger out here in a few.  To top it all off, I have a feeling that I am not going to get this coaching job and I am very sad. </p>

<p>Sudsy - That girls full of natural talent.  She is as humble and modest as they come too!! </p>
<p>DB - loved the mud pixs on FB and your brother's comment even more!!  LOL!!  Congrats on getting back on the wagon!</p>

<p>SB - glad you are having such nice weather!!!  I was enjoying the cooler weather but it got into the 50's and people were cracking out their hats, mittens and winter coats!  Seriously!!  It is hysterical!</p>
<p>Fer - Nice job on the run!!!  Been meaning to tell you, DD6 is entering a photo in a school photo contest.  She used my camera so I will let you know how she does!  I think Santa will be giving her one of her own for Christmas!</p>
