Good morning!

Finally Friday! No work for me tomorrow but a busy weekend.

Had a good workout this morning and still taking it easy. And yes, I think a doctors visit will be in my future (if I don't see any improvements by next week.)

Marianne, I hear you about running!

Sisu, love the new profile picture!

Morning my running friends. I guess I will work out later. I ran about 5 last night. I am so ready to get this weekend started. Nothing really planned I just want to relax a little.

Good morning Paul! Glad to hear that you had a good workout and that you are considering a dr's appointment. I won't hassle you about it anymore!

It's so very dark here at 5am! I really wish I could get myself out of bed to run then but there is no way I'm running down the dark road past the dark forest for over 1.5mi all alone - it's creepy. Yes, I'm a sissy! haha I guess I could take a dog or two with me. I'm going to bootcamp this morning and will run tomorrow.

I did look at the pictures from our race Sudsy and we look pretty good considering the conditions that day. :)

Morning! I have today off and I get to go to my orthodontist later. It's very dreary. I think I will take today off from any exercise, except maybe some pushups and crunches. It is finally dawning on me that the easier I take it, the quicker this thing will heal!

Paul ~ Enjoy your weekend!

Sisu ~ I have a short stretch of woods to run by too. It's just a little under 1/2 a mile and it is very creepy in the dark. I have only done it in the dark a few times which was enough to convince me that it is too scary! I don't think you're a sissy - you are smart!!!

Ron ~ WTG on your run! Hope you have a great weekend.

DId anyone hear about the women who ran a marathon (maybe Chicago) pregnant, finished it and then had her baby soon after?? And it was her second marathon during that pregnancy!! Crazy! I remember with both kids walking was enough for me during pregnancy! Sounds very risky to me, but it all worked out for her....she must be one tough lady!

Susan you are being smart not wanting to run in the dark not a sissy. What about carrying pepper spray with you? I love your new picture.

Hi Marianne the pregnant woman did run Chicago and she ran half the race. Still that is amazing she was 38 1/2 weeks pregnant.

Ron ~ Oh, I swore I read that she finished it in a little over 6 hours - and her husband started with her, but his knees gave out so he had to bag it! Either way, even running a half while that far along in pregnancy is amazing!

Hi all

Serious assbusting workout this morning at bootcamp. Our trainer had the best quote ever while we were warming up. She said, "Don't overanalyze the pain. Just go with it" I thought that was great!!

Ron - I must have posted at the same time as you this morning. Good job on your 5 miles. Hope it's cooled down for you a bit! Pepper spray might work for a coyote but I don't want to be in that situation! haha Thanks for your complement about my picture - it's actually a few years old.
Marianne - it's so nice to see you here! :) Hope the ortho went OK! I hear you on finally realizing that you will heal quicker if you take it easy. I wonder why it's so hard for us runners to realize that? I did hear about the pregnant woman and I think that she did run the full marathon but I might be wrong. Either way I can't imagine how she did that.

It's pouring rain here so no horse time today but I did get a lot of errands done. I certainly have enough to do around here so I guess I better get something done before the kids get back.
