Good morning!

It's finally Friday! I'm working tomorrow, but at least It will go by quickly

Rest day for me today, I needed it. Looks like I may be doing my 20 miler on Sunday in the rain. I'm hoping the hurricane comes in later rather than sooner.

Ron, I know what you mean about needing a break. I tried a new training plan for this fall's marathon and I think it's wearing me down rather than building me up. I may switch over the last 4 weeks to a different plan and see if I can get my act together.

Hvae a great Friday everybody!

Good morning! I hit the gym this morning. I finally seem to be making progress with the power lifts. I took the day off because I have a funeral to go to. Tomorrow I am going to the sox game. I can't wait.

Suds - you have been working hard lately. Rest is good. I hope the hurricane doesn't come at all!

Morning running friends! I ran Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings! School started yesterday and so I took the day off and today work up w/ a migrane so took another morning off. Monday was 3, Tuesday 2.5 and Wednesday 3 and I ran the entire time - NO WALKING!! Gaela has suckered me into a 5K or 10K in October and then the NC Marathon is in November but I will only do the 5K there. Out of town guests are WELCOME to the NC M!!! :) Gaela and Michael are coming as they did the first one and every one since.

Morning my running friends. I got up early to go to the gym but I wasn't very awake and not motived so it wasn't as long as I wanted but I also ran out of time. Tomorrow my youngest is trying out for a new baseball team so we will see how that goes. I think he decided against basketball.

Jennifer and I are looking at the Arizona Marathon in Feb. It will be the first one and probably smallish. It is on Presidents weekend. I just need to wrap my mind on running something longer then 5 miles.

Hi Andi! Hope you enjoy the game! You've been hitting the gym pretty good, it's no wonder those power lifts are getting easier!

Nicole, you're doing great! I hope you enjoy those races, wish I could join you! I'm in training for a marathon on Oct. 2nd. Hopefully I'll finish.

Ron, good luck to your son! And I wish I could join you guys in Feb also. I have a nephew that lives out there and I wouldn't mind visiting him and then running too. Hmm.

Paul let us know. That would be great. I like the idea of a small race. If you sign up before the end of September the registration fee is $50 and you get a tech shirt and a finishers medal.
