Happy Friday!
Rest day today, just doing a little weight workout.
I'm glad it's Friday and I don't have work tomorrow so I'm looking forward to a nice weekend. I think it's going to be in the mid 40's so it will be great running weather.
Sisu, the snow around here is gone. I thought for sure it would have been around for a little while longer because of the huge piles, but now it's time to start cleaning up the yard and stuff.
Andi, you're schedule is always so full. You must really savor your time out there running. I hope next weekend the weather holds out for us.
Ron, any plans for the weekend? What's up with the fallout situation? I'm getting concerned.
Nicole, no green beer for me last night. But I did have a Magic Hat Black IPA.

Hey Paul! I can't wait until the snow is gone at our house! We are so far from that right now but there is hope. :) Enjoy your rest day today and I'm happy to hear that you don't have to work tomorrow!!

I need some motivation to get me out there for my long run this morning. i'd love to go right now but I have two more kids to get ready so it looks like I'll be hitting the road around 8:30. The temperature is supposed to be mild but right now it's raining and it's supposed to be really windy with gusts to 50mph. I chose a route that will keep me mostly out of the wind (I hope!) and I plan to do the last 5-6mi on my TM.

Thanks Paul. Last week it was really windy when we did our long run, too. I seriously got blown sideways a few times crossing a bridge over the water! I just ate a bunch of food so hopefully that will weigh me down enough. I am not a fan of running in the wind but at least it's not snowing!

Good morning! Today was a gym day. It's supposed to be warm but windy today.

Suds - The weather is not looking that great right now. They are showing rain for Fri and Sat and then for Mon, Tue and Wed after the race. But just cold and cloudy for Sunday. I really hope it's not cold and rainy!

Sisu - Have a great run. The wind is tough, especiall when it is cold out.

Andi...have a great wkend!! Is this the last wkend of hockey??

Signs of spring....the snowbirds in my neighborhood are returning from AZ, 6 jack rabbits playing in the snow in my backyard this morning...as much as I despise those damn things it is pretty cute!! They dont come out much in the winter and have been out there for a couple hours now and the 1st televised flood prep meeting of the season aired this morning! 3yrs in a row...everyone is tired! We still have a lot of snow but I see progress!! this was the first wk with decent enough temps to get the melting going. Ran 3 last night, then had green beer and apps with some friends! Tonight a wedding and reception and tomorrow 3 basketball games for ds2. Busy wkend!! Hope to get 7 in tomorrow. Today will probably be a rest day.

Morning my running friends. I am so glad it is Friday but not glad that Jennifer will be driving back with her family tomorrow morning. Tonight we will have a house full of 6 adults and 7 kids. It should be a lot of fun though. Next time Jennifer comes back she will be flying into Las Vegas and I will pick her up for an early birthday celebration.

Paul that are not making a big deal of the fall out here. I hope it isn't a big deal but even a little radiation sounds bad to me. Glad you can enjoy the weekend.

Susan i hope you had a good long run.

Andi warm is good but windy is bad.

Staci glad there are signs of Spring. I am not much of a fan of rabbits either. There are a lot around us and the big holes all over the place.

I made it! My legs were really tired when I hit the road - I think it was that bootcamp class I did Wednesday so I knew with all the hills it was going to be a challenge. I was shooting for 18 miles but was feeling pretty good and decided to push it to 20. I did only the last 1.5mi on the TM because I was so thirsty and I had run out of drinks. The wind wasn't really a factor luckily but now it's really whipping the trees around.

Staci - so nice to see signs of spring isn't it? We have some grass showing in our yard now. Have fun a the wedding and reception and all the games tomorrow. Hope you have a good 7 mile run!

Ron - enjoy the time with Fer and family. I'm sorry she has to head back tomorrow. Vegas sounds like fun!

Andi - good job at the gym this morning. Was it boot camp or working out on your own? Do you have a long run this weekend?

Hey friends!! Going for a swim w/ a friend tonight! Plus, they have started GOFAR at the girls school and they were doing rubber chicken running today. I was SO MAD that the one day I caved and wore flip flops they were doing the rubber chicken run and I couldn't be the chicken thief! I considered trying a barefoot run.... Next week I will get those kiddos though!!

Sudsy - YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY for no work tomorrow!!!! Have fun w/ Tank! There is a beer run here tomorrow for St. P's day where you run 5 miles and then drink beer! We'll be out of town tho... :(

Susan - NICE JOB CHICKA!!! Congrats on the 20 after weeks of kids w/ sickness in your house. That is AWESOME! I bet you are enjoying the 65 degree weather too! M has a friend over and I made all of them go outside and play. It is easily in the upper 70's today and is borderlining on too hot for me.

Andi - hope the rain holds off! You racing w/ anyone else this weekend?! I am JEALOUS!!!

Staci - YAY FOR GREEN BEER!! :) Don't have too much fun this weekend! Glad things are warming up for you!

Ron - Enjoy the weekend w/ the family!! What do you guys do when the families get together? Do you play cut throat board games?!?! That would be AWESOME!!!!

Good job Susan I don't ever think I set out for 18 then decided to do 20. I bow to you. Yeah for 65. Grab the husband and kids and meet us in Vegas!

Nicole we usually get together in Idaho or at family reunions in Oregon. This is the first time they have all been here. I am guessing we will eat and watch basketball. They kids are little so they can't play game except maybe the Wii. When we meet up there Jennifer's family sings and play music. Her dad and brother are very talented musicians I like hearing Jennifer sing too.
