Good morning!
Happy Friday! It's been a long week here and I'm looking forward to the weekend with no work tomorrow.
Rest day today, just an easy workout and then tomorrow and Sunday I have 10 and 20 miles. Should be warmer out there, maybe up to 50! I'm looking forward to being outside and in the daylight for these runs.
Have a great day!

Good morning! Bring on the weekend! Today was boot camp day. He measured out body fat today and I was satisfied with the number. Hopefully I can improve it a bit more. Tomorrow is dd's last hockey game of the season. They didn't make playoffs and I am so relieved for one to be done (except tryouts, she has 2 more of those). Lacrosse practices start tonight.

Paul - I am so happy that tomorrow is going to be decent weather. I have to run in the morning, but not as early as during the week.

Amber - Wow, thank goodness no one was hurt. Our local rink did close for a day a few weeks ago so they could clear the roof. You will do a great job with the after school program. Now, go out and run.

:) Ok I have def been reading WAY TOO MUCH DR SUESS this wk!! Shoe shopping last night!! Went back to Asics Nimbus!! Love them and they are pink! :) I have had my last pair way too long (NB 1064)! OOPS!! I have always liked asics and should have never switched!! I am going to go without the orthotics now as well! hope it goes ok!! they were originally for my pf and that was never caused by running but rather walking on my hard floors all day without support for my feet so I think that I should be good to go!! 3-4 tonight and then 6 on either sat or sun! will bike on the day I dont run this wkend! We are supposed to get snow and I dont think will be vvery warm so it will probablly be inside! I hope I can start getting outside more soon!!

Paul!! ENJOY those 50's and those runs!! What wonderful running weather!! YAY!
Andi...yay for hockey being almost over!! I am ready for spring sports myself!! DS is playing on a travel basketball team too this spring/summer along with baseball so I will still be stuck inside a gymnasium sometimes! UCK!

Staci go to hulu.com. It is a site where you can watch TV shows that have been aired. I am not positive but I think it only has new shows stored.

I am sure Paul will ask too but can you post pictures of your strength stuff for your legs. It is for research purposes only.

Hi all!

Paul - You've got a lot of running to do this weekend! 50s is going to feel so nice - shorts weather!

Andi - good job on the bootcamp as usual. I haven't had my body fat tested since I played volleyball in college - we had it tested during pre-season for some reason.

Amber - sounds like you are busy with that after school program. Good for you for taking it on! How is your foot by the way?

Staci - so cool about the new shoes! I love getting new shoes - especially when they are cool colors. I'm glad that you are going w/o orthotics. I remember when I got rid of mine and I realized that they were doing nothing for me (except causing new problems!)

Ron - I don't do any weights for my legs except stuff like med ball lunges, etc. I prefer to do functional exercises with bands or squats on the flat side of the bosu, etc. We should see pictures of your legs just to judge whether you need to use weights or not. Just for research of course.

I'm a bit sore from my boot camp class yesterday but not nearly as bad as I feared. (maybe it will hit tomorrow!) I had a busy day but was able to squeeze in 3.25mi on the TM and then 30min on the elliptical. I hate the elliptical because my feet go numb. I have to do a long run this weekend and hope to get to 16 miles at least. It certainly doesn't feel like I'm training for a marathon but I guess I'm running one in 6 or 7 weeks. :)

Shhh I ran a little over 4 on the faster side for me these days and lifted a little.

Susan I don't like the eliptical much either for the same reason. I force the ball of my foot down so I have to move my foot around if I have been on it for a while.

Speaking of new shoes I really need some.
