Good morning!
Happy Friday! Looks like it will be a snowy day here today. It's already started and should make for another tough commute this morning. Yuck.
Running rest day today, just finishing up a little workout and it's off to the shower.
Have a great day!

Good morning Paul! Hope you have a safe trip to work and a good day.

No school for my kids again. argh!!! No long run with my friends unfortunately. I hope that the treadmill repair guy can still make it to my house to fix it so I can run on that instead. If not, I'll be braving the cold tomorrow for my long run. Stay warm everyone and happy Friday!

Morning my running friends. I just couldn't make it out of bed to run this morning so I will work out later. I am so glad that it is Friday with not much planned for the weekend. Unfortunately I am going to Texas next week for work.

Hi Amber. I'm not shoveling! I'm waiting until it's all over and then I'll tackle the walkway. Good job on that fishtank cleaning. Sounds like one of those things I would put off for as long as possible! Have fun on W2d2!

No treadmill repair guy yet :( I have a feeling he's not going to make it. It's snowing really hard and my driveway is looking pretty bad. I guess I'll have to do my run tomorrow in the frigid cold instead. No matter how cold it is tomorrow morning I'm sure it will be warmer than what Staci has had to deal with!

Hey Paul - a couple of days ago you asked me about the Eastern States race and I haven't signed up for it yet because honestly I don't know if I'll be able to do it. I'm hoping to get through 10-12mi tomorrow and that will give me an idea of where I am. I'm really starting to wonder about how I'm going to get through Boston! yikes.

Hi Amber! Nothing like a little snow to mess your plans! Hope you get that dissertation done!

Sisu, I hope you get that IT squared away, I don't want you to miss Boston. You have a running partner if you decide to run the race!

I just submitted my dissertation proposal..what a small sense of relief when I dont have that looming over my head (well until he gets back to me, which will probably be in a few days)..so that means a guilt free afternoon of running, playing with the kids, and wine drinking tonight--sooo excited!

Congrats Amber! That is a huge accomplishment and you should be very proud. I'm going to have a toast to all of the work you've done! :)

Paul - I really hope I can run the Eastern States race with you! I know I've said this a million times but I really feel like I'm on the mend with this IT band thing now. I am so excited to run Harpoon again this year! My friend Ann turns 40 this year so we'll be celebrating!

The TM guy made it here and got stuck in my driveway with his big bad 4wd truck! haha. I helped dig him out and he fixed my TM and I can't believe I'm excited about running on it again. Woohoo! It looks like I'll be doing at least part of my run on it tomorrow. time for a glass (or two) of wine! Have a good night!
