Good morning Paul!! Happy Christmas Eve! I hope that everyone picks their car up at a reasonable time and that you are home enjoying an adult beverage by the tree with the family early. Good job on your workout and wrapping multi-tasking this morning. Did Tank help with the wrapping? has he eaten an ornaments off the tree??

We have been down and out with a stomach bug since Monday night. My kids are almost all better and luckily my sister didn't get it. My parents were supposed to be here by now but they are not going to make it after all. My dad was just diagnosed with severe lyme disease (took the stupid dr forever to diagnose!!!) and he's in a lot of pain and can't make the long drive. :( He's been having a lot of pain for months and his dr kept telling him it was just arthritis. He finally insisted that he have a lyme test since he's had it before. Turns out his lyme levels are extremely high and have progressed to cause all kinds of issues for him. We're hoping that we can get them out here after Christmas but not sure if that will happen.

I haven't run since last Saturday but the forced rest has probably been good for me. I'm supposed to start marathon training next week - haha!!

Good morning Sisu! Happy Christmas Eve to you too! Tank has been very good with the tree and knows that it's off limits. So far, so good! Sorry to hear about your dad. I hear that Lyme disease is often overlooked and it's painfull. Hope he recovers ok!

Merry Christmas Eve running peeps! I hope you're all having a good day so far.

We got up early to surprise the kids with opening their presents this morning. They are spending the night with their mom tonight and when we pick them up in the morning we will be heading straight out to Ron's parents' house. One of the presents was huge and we would not have had room for it in the car with all the kids....I guess we told you about the pony, right? Well, here it is:

It is so cute that she loves it so much. It cracks me up.

We're going to go run after the smaller kids leave with their mom, and then it will be just us and our teenager. We're taking her out to get her ears pierced for a second time and we'll have a nice dinner just the 3 of us.

Suds-I hope you're able to get off work early today!

Susan-Sorry about the stomach bug. I hope everyone is feeling better soon. I'm really sorry to hear that about your dad. :( I really hope now that they have a correct diagnosis they can treat him and he can get to feeling better soon.
