Good morning and Happy Friday!

No work for me tomorrow and it looks like a good weekend. Sunday is our HM and it should be nice and cool so I'm looking forward to that.

Sisu, hope your leg is doing better. Enjoy the weekend! I'm running a marathon at the end of the month if all goes well. I'm just looking to go the distance, no time expectations.

Fer and Ron, hope you had a good run last night.

Johnny, that sucks about the injury and having to bow out of the marathon. Hopefully you'll recover and be stronger. Don't rush it and take care of yourself.

Morning my running friends. I woke up early and got a run in. I felt really good and slowly getting back into running. Last night was a no go for the work out. It was a really stressful day at work and it zapped my energy. This weekend should be busy as usual with a sleep over tonight and football and baseball games on tap.

Paul glad that you get to relax a little this weekend.

JB have fun at the race.

Happy Friday all! I hope you all have a great weekend.

Paul-I hope you have a great time at the HM Sun. As for the marathon later this month, sometimes it is really nice to run without time expectations, don't you think. You can just enjoy the day for what it is.

John-Bummer about the missed appt. Have a great time cheering on your friends!

Staci-You are busy, busy. We definitely understand that feeling. Sorry you haven't been able to run much, and we have missed you around here.

I think I'm probably going to take the day off. I need to go to the store and get some stuff for the sleep over tonight and I'm picking up our oldest after school and she wanted me to take some pictures of her and a couple of her friends in their band uniforms.

SB, too early for those temps!

Hey ROn and Fer, hope you have a good weekend.

Forgot to mention E&M had their first modified XC meet Tuesday. Molly always nudges out Erin in races it seems, which I know bugs her, so I was surprised to see Erin come in with a 12th place (2nd for her school) in 11:35 out of I think almost 40 girls from 4 schools over a 1.5 mile course with a few hills. Molly squeezed in 11:59 in17th. They have a huge meet Saturday, over 200 schools coming in. Should be interesting. It was cool to see them both really kicking it down the last 100 yards. They both passed a couple girls at the end...sandbaggers!

I need to get Molly some new shoes tonight.

Hi all

I went in to my dd9's class today to help out with math and I'm so aggravated by her math teacher. No energy, no emotion and just lifeless and boring. There is a way to make it more fun for the kids while keeping them on track but apparently she's not interested in that. I'm just glad I can go in help out and maybe bring some energy to that room. blah. I was able to fit in a nice 30min run wearing my Vibram FF's with the dog after school and before the rain. I had just enough time to race to the vet for a quick appt for my dog right after my run so I wore my Five Fingers in to the vet and got several funny looks and a couple people asked me about them. I guess I looked a little odd in those crazy shoes. I felt great during the run, though, and I'm not nearly as sore as I thought I'd be today after the torture my PT guy put me through yesterday!

JB - is Wineglass this weekend? mIssing your PT appt really stinks!

Fer - hope the sleepover goes well. Have fun taking pictures!

SB - I am so not ready for the cold weather! The first few runs in the cool weather are nice but by February I'm really tired of it.

Suds - glad you have a marathon in your sights. That sounds like a really good plan. Hope your day at work is going well.

Have a good afternoon!
