OMG! I'm the second one to post...where is everyone???? Sleeping hopefully. I realize I should say running, but sleeping is important for being a good runner (at least that's what I read).

I'm off for 9 in a few.

Good morning Suds!

I just read the rest of yesterdays thread...

Lee- I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom. Thank goodness it's the better kind. I'm a sunscreen freak and wear it all the time and have even reapplied while running. I sit in the shade at the pool and under an umbrella at the beach. It's not too bad. My Dad had skin cancer (still doesn't wear sunscreen) and I have too many spots and wrinkles for my age due to some teenage fun in the sun.

Gaela and Abbie- nice pics!!

Nicole- Give your girls a ^5 for getting you to the gym!

Morning, Suds! Great job on your weights and core workout!
Morning, Jen - have a good 9, girl!
Heather - Nice workk on the 5 and on the roller. That is as challenging as running as far as I am concered. I think my knee's at the point where I can use mine again. Before it was too sore to even think about it.
Lee - Morning! I also read about your mom's news and am sorry to hear that. My mom went through the same exact thing multiple times, and thank goodness both of us can say that our moms don't have melanoma. But it's still scary and awful to go through.

I am heading to the pool yet again. Will do 2500 or 3000 depending on how bored I get. Nicole's workouts really help - not sure if I am up for intervals today though. Knee is still pretty stiff and painful first thing in the morning, but yesterday I could finally walk without limping. I still walk slowly, but no limp. This morning I am limping again. Oh well. A little swimming always loosens it up and then the hot tub is awesome.

My worry is that it will never be the same again.

Good Morning! I ran 6.5 this morning. My foot feels great but my knee is a little stiff. I rolled and stretched and will try to yoga again tonight.

Suds - Happy Friday! What are your plans for this weekend?

Jen - Enjoy your 9! You are really coming along, you must be so happy.

Heather - Nice job on the 5 and stretching.

Lee - Are you working today?

Abbie - Have a nice swim. I hope you can get your knee back to where it needs to be. The key will be to make sure you train smart so you can keep it under control.

Marianne - don't be scared. If you don't make it up the mountain suds will find you and carry you up - won't you suds?

Morning Andi, good run!

Lee - Sorry to hear about your Mom. At least they got it all though.

Morning to everyone else I don't see on right now.

Got my first ever race tomorrow, so I am sitting here at work being all nervous. I drove the course yesterday and freaked myself out a little. There are a TON of hills (big ones.) Probably not compared to areas where some of you live, but this part of the world is pretty flat, so I am not that used to them. I suspect I will be walking up a few of them.

Other than that, just killing time at work until I get to go get my race packet!
