Hi KitKat's DD. That's so sweet of you!
Hi Ky... I'm late leaving for home.
Nite Monika!

I just got home from work 'cause I stopped at Target and Blockbuster on the way back. SXSW started today and it took FOREVER to get out of downtown! DH picked DD up from afterschool. Since I'm going to babysit my 1yr old niece in the morning, I thought I needed to go to Target and pick up some baby wipes, sippy cups, baby spoons, toddler clothes, and little people toys. Then I had to get a bin to put the toys in. The baby always has clothes on that are too big or too small. They don't use baby wipes, just clean her w/water and a washcloth. I'm not that progressive. Give me the unscented wipes. They don't give her baby food because 'she doesn't like it'. I said WTHeck does that mean?! She's 1. My bro is almost 40. He buys the food, she eats. So they give her table food. Mashed of course 'cause she has no teeth. I bought sippy cups, 'cause I have a pet peeve about little ones who can hold their own bottles. I figure if she can do that, she can hold a cup. Clothes so that she'll have a change of clothes here. They usually forget that. Toys and a bin, so that she has toys that stay here when her Dad forgets to pack them. There are some kewl toys now too! (Off my soap box)

For moi... I found a red Champions runners jacket for half price. It was the last one and... IT FIT! I never fit into their running stuff very well. They had lots of running skirts, but I held one of those up to me and just thought... Nah. Not with my build and... (Willa don't yell at me) thighs.

She is a doll! What will be interesting is when her Dad leaves. He just split up with his GF and I haven't watched the baby a whole lot. She will definitely have the separation anxiety. Fortunately, pancakes are for breakfast so I'll be able to distract her with those and a banana.

How are you today, Jen? Did you run today or was it a rest day?

Hi DB! How much longer 'til you get to go home?
Willa - Oh yeah! Unless shorts are at least 3/4 thigh length, I don't buy them.
DB - How many days in a row do you work? That's a lot of hours to pack into just a few days...
That's called job security in IT. Are you the boss?
HEY BATMOMM!!! What are you guys doing? Did you go to the expo? What's in your goodie bags?
DB - I haven't had to deal with that in a long time. Years ago I was one of 8 and supported a lot of remote servers, workstations, peripherals, backups, remote networking equip, etc. 4 were sent out into the field to do upgrades, and I was one of 4 left. Needless to say, I worked many long hours and was paid a lot of overtime. When we were absorbed into another dept. the changed our positions so that we were exempt from overtime and got comp time instead. We did get raises, but were pulling in a lot more in overtime.
Ky - Pink stuff is fun! The best thing is the cute dresses! It was all I could do to not buy one for her. DD said she doesn't want anymore big fat fluffy dresses. She's beyond that stuff now. Sad, but interesting too.

Hey, guess what I found. Hal Higdon has a beginning running plan on his site for kids. When the days get longer again, I'm going to have DH work with DH on it. It doesn't look like it'll take much time either.
