What are your thoughts on going for a run after imbibing an adult beverage? Good Idea? Bad Idea? Somewhere in between? Are there certain times that it is okay and times that it is not?

I really like running. And I really like beer.<br><br>
But I've never felt comfy running after drinking. I wish I could do it, but its probably a good thing. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink"><br><br>
What do you think of the Beer Mile?

I've done it before...on quite a few occasions...had a beer with dinner or with coworkers and then ran an hour or two later. As long as I'm not trying to run fast tempo, it doesnt seem to be a big deal, but food in general doesn't really bother me before a regular training run.

<b>Voo</b> used to drink and run I believe. I can't do it though. I feel like complete crap when I try to run after drinking.

since I'm such a lightweight, one beer would do me in. I'd be too tired to run and too tipsy to run a straight line. But After a long run on a warm day? now, THAT's the time to have some beer. But just a small glass for me please <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink">

when I did hash runs in London, sometimes you drank beer before, during and after the run! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/occasion14.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="occasion5">
