I listened to an NPR story about the guy on my commute the other day. He's willingly undergone a whole lot of testing. The net of that testing is that it takes him a whole lot less energy/effort to run at a given speed than it does an able bodied athlete. The Olympic committee therefor argues his prosthetics give him an unfair advantage.
