Fidat! I forget what it's like to run in the heat. It's been sooooooo long. (Since August!)

On the opposite spectrum, I ran this morning before work. Yesterday, I got a solid 8 miler done at the shore. It was a.w.e.s.o.m.e. to breathe in the salt air, see the ocean for the first part of my run, and get some speed in my legs. My calf was NOT happy afterward, though, so I planned a slow, easy, recovery run today. Knowing the weather would make for a messy afternoon, I got out at 5am this morning.

At first I didn't even notice the snowflakes starting. Then, about 10 minutes in, I felt like I was running in a snow globe. Then, about 30 minutes in, I was getting pelted in the face with thick, heavy flakes (which, I might add, tasted yummy when they landed on my lips ) So, 4 dark, easy miles this morning.
