This was for fun. Teeny tiny local race to benefit the high school CC team. There was maybe 100 people there....most of them teens.

It was incredibly humid! Even after a couple hits on the inhaler, I felt like I couldn't breathe. Warming up, I just felt off. I don't really know how to describe it. The only thing I can figure is that my body didn't want to run at 8 am, since I always train in the afternoon.

I went out at a moderate pace, waiting for all the youngsters who went out too fast to die....and they did.

I still just could not get into any kind of comfortable rhythm. I felt like I was fighting my body the whole way. But I was able to pass several on the out and back course.

All in all a decent day.
